A lot of people forget that fluidyne makes a half radiator for civic/crx that fits with a factory x-member...instead of doing the eg radiator gangsta-lean.

Keep in mind that it is designed for a b-series, with the larger 32mm inlet.

Ive had the pleasure of driving a B series swapped EG with a KAAZ diff in it. Im unsure as to how it was set up, but damn, that thing chattered and clunked around turns (on the street) like crazy. The GOOD thing: Even though it made a ton of noise, it hooked thru those turns like nothing Ive felt before...really made you feel as if the diff was completely locked. I can see the benefit on the track, but for street, my oem itr lsd is plenty fun with zero noise.

HEY I like the ridgelines. Dont get me wrong I would love to have a tacoma but those things are just too expensive.

I think I am going to go with the OBX afterall. The guy I was going to have install it keeps telling me over and over that it will work perfectly. He says he checks them before putting them in. My brain is starting to hurt from all these decisions.

i think the guy putting it in just wants you to get obx b/c then your going to have to pay him once to put it in, and then once to remove it and put in whatever new one you get next. spend the extra coin and get the mfactory or quaife. extra 200$ now will save you in the long run... expecially if you say your going turbo.

got all my new weatherstripping on, never knew trunk weatherstrip was such a PIA!

Any tips or possible problems i may run into dropping the gas tank on my 91 crx?

just be careful on the feed hose. its hard to find one in good condition and the tank pulls on it if you dont disconnect it from the hard line first. its $92 from honda

Guys I currently have a LS tranny. Should I even spend the extra to get a b16 tranny to put the LSD in...or should I just slap the LSD in the LS tranny.
I am going to evenually turbo the car, if that helps anything.

A1 tranny + b16 = teh fail
y1 tranny + b16 = teh win

either way do what money premits. Only thing you will need to take into consideration is do it once or don't do it at all

The problem with doing it once is be prepared to drop 1-1.5g's at once (assuming you do the work yourself). LSD + Decent tranny + new synchros + new bearings + new fluid + misc. odds and ends.

Doing it once = exceeding the cost of your vehicle . It's worth it though, IMO. To have a ridiculous baller transmission that you know is good that is.

There isnt anything like no grinds, no strange noises, no leaks, short ratios and an LSD!

heh it's not so much the MPG of an ls 5th as it is the drone of the b16 tranny at 70 mph. It keeps me at 65 haha
