Congrats on the new house Blue! Looks nice!

Anyone remember what page we had the brake bleeding discussion recently on? I can't find it and was trying to reference it a while ago.

Anyone ever feel like they have the last 88-91 Civic/CRX on the road? I am feeling awfully lonely lately when I take my car out, never see any on the road anymore.

lol, i know. its sad when you tell someone you drive a CRX and they just assume you drive a small honda suv. OR better yet, just have no clue what you're talking about.

the other day i actually had a "honda kid" say, "i never realized how small a CRX is, i never seen one close up before". smh

I get that feeling sometimes. And the only one's I do see on the road, are cruising along 15 under in the slow lane looking like they're about to fall apart. But it just makes me smile to know that mine might look like theirs, but it's a completely different kind of beast.

And that auction.... $475 in that condition?!?!? Out of his mind.

Hahaa, I dont see that many. usually the ones I see aren't being taken care of. or its someone young who doesnt understand the concept of taking care of something. I do enjoy that fact though..we may have some of the last EF's! The random old guys that wanna tell there "back in my days" storys are great. Dont be sad CWBETB, you should come to Honda Day in NJ, the events have been decent over there lately. Met a guy with 2 crx's last week, him and his wife? were drag racing.. cool people, good to have some people to BS with. For whatever reason I find it easier to relate to anyone with an EF..

Wish I was heading to IA coming up.. any fellow EF'ers going for reals now that its like 2 weeks away?

I don't think I can say the same. I was out doing a couple errands and, including my own, I came across 4 CRX's in less than an hour. Living in a city with less a population of less than 40,000 I think that was pretty impressive.

Glad to see I am not the only one. I used to do the friendly flash lights/semi wave thing when I would see one, and lately...NOTHING!

Worse yet is when someone says what kinda car is that? Never seen one before!?! Wha?! Guess thats going to happen when your car predates some of the teenies birth dates! DOH!

Fixed. Think about it, the last year for the EF was 1991, 20 years ago. Save for those born July-Dec of 91 who would still be 19... BUT, even the 91 models were manufactured prior to 91 and therefore older than the last of the teenies

This seems to be coming up a lot in conversation with me lately. I'm 26, turning 27 on the 18th. Not "old" by any means but have several friends that I would consider "youngsters" that enjoy giving me a hard time.

But, the amount of "living" I've done between the age of 18 and now though, I have the mind of a 40 year old and the body of a 35 year old

I think its safe to say the general age in here is about the same as the cars age. Ive always liked cars from around the years I was born. I love 88-93 mustangs, any Honda 88-91 is always a favorite. Id like to think I have an old soul as well.. just relate to more of the older stuff or older people, could talk to some old dudes for hours. Not in a hipster way though.. Either way, Ima get old with my crx forever, the less there are the more I will love mine.

I think if any import has a chance of being labelled a "classic"... its the crx!

I wish I was as old as my car...That would mean I'd still be in college...f****n a lot.

In EF related news, I will do my best to represent EF/EDs well at this years FF Battle 3. FINALLY I can make it this year. The tire sizes from General tire sucked *** so I'm actually running my 16" Volk SE37's on the CRX. When I calculate a 195/55/15 tire vs. a 205/45/16 tire, the 16" tire is actually .1 inch less in diameter. I'd much rather run the 16's than a 195/55/15!!! Yuck.

And for pictures, I dug up this picture of my CRX, circa 2006 when I was going through photobucket. This was my first night with VTEC as I had just swapped in the GSR and was running around San Jose with Ryan with no hood on

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY WEEKEND Y'ALL. BE SAFE!
