body filler would have sufficed, and I agree with iheartteal.

Haha, yeah. Wait until you're married with kids and a mortgage. Parts purchases are few and far between.

No marriage, but the mortgage and home are kind of lame. I spent my wheel money on a nice new fridge. Then I spent my wheel money again on a fancy new dining room set. WTF man?!?!

I can't wait until I cannot find anymore lightweight parts for my bicycle, that day is near. When that day comes I will be back to dedicating all my disposable income to my KR-X. Oh yeah I am buying a new shotgun soon too, but after that it's all KR-X. I have too many hobbies.

I have similar problems, I started restoring an old bike.. old Dyno. and my Fit wasn't so cheap either. If I can recommend a shotgun.. Mossberg 500. I purchased mine about a year ago, only have taken it to the range once but that was enough for now, peace of mind at night is nice too! Its about time to order the rest of the parts needed to finish my crx, but oh wait christmas! and having surgery next month on my shoulder doesnt help!
Post pics of the bike!

Yeah man, it's good stuff. Glad you like it. My friend knows what he is doing for sure. I damn near quit smoking. It's weird. I am so busy at work, and training I just fall asleep at the end of the day.

Although, I still have an old Schwinn Aluminum frame BMX that I still ride, and have fun with, I have become a road racer somehow. I always thought people that wore lycra, and rode road bikes were ***s, until I started riding one, then eventually racing. Now I train 6 days a week, and I have 3 road bikes. It totally changed my life, and I am healthier than ever. I'll post of pic of my current race bike below. I think I will be selling my old race bike for KR-X money this spring.

I have a 870 Remington already, with 3 different barrels, and a stock, and a pistol grip setup. The one I am looking at is a Saiga 12, with a 20rd drum, just for mass destruction zombie apocalypse. It's basically a 12ga AK-47. I don't really need it, but my friend is giving me a really good deal on it, and I've wanted one for some time. I hope your surgery goes well, and good luck with your CR-X build.

Here is the bike, it has a different carbon fiber crankset now, and I just ordered a new saddle for it. It is also carbon fiber, but wrapped with black covering this time. I also order black bartape to match, and make it a bit less flashy, and easier to keep clean. I have aluminum wheels I ride most of the time, but these are my carbon race wheels. I am trying to get it under 14lbs. It is at 14.46 right now, but the new saddle is projected to get it to 14.33.

fellow NY'er too?

Thanks man! second surgery on the same shoulder. I know what you mean, its funny how much different you look at things as you mature. Those assclowns in lycra are now respectable people you hang out with! That's a serious bike!! Im no where near that level, Im sort of building my old school Dyno to match my crx.. Dyno Compe from similar Era as the Cr-x. Powder coated the frame black, same color schemes, some old school parts, some new stuff(cranks, pedals). Just another hobby. Its actually an old bike I had as a kid, found the bike in an old shed I took down for my mom. couldn't just toss it.

I feel you on the "mass destruction zombie apocalypse"... Main reason I bought a gun!
I really want to get my hands on a Riffle, last time at the Range a guy from Remington was there and let me shoot a .308 Remington R25.. I fell in love with it. Little pricey, but I enjoyed shooting that gun a lot more than the Ak or the Ar-15. Guns and Tattoo's are expensive hobbies!

Nope, I am from Ohio. I was up visiting the Chemist, when I bought his wheels. I had a friend that had a Dyno Compe when I was young. My favorite BMX bike I had was a Redline Proline. I loved that bike. It was one of the first things I ever modded. Eventually it ended up with no stock parts. That trend has repeated itself many times throughout my life since. Now when I build a bike I don't bother, I buy a frameset, and put the parts on I want.

I got sick for 2 months a few years back, and started riding my mountain bike allot on the road. Then my dad gave me his old like '86 Schwinn road bike. Soon I was hooked, and allot healthier. Then 2 years ago I did my first 100mile ride in one day, in a charity ride, and at times I rode along side Lance Armstrong. Last year I raced 6 races, and won 2. I plan to race 20+ races next year. I really started to like it now, I've become friends with a local pro racer, and he has been helping me out allot. We train together 3 days a week now. It's crazy how things go sometimes.

Anyway about guns. I really wanted my next gun purchase to be a .308 ironically. I already have a pistol, and an AR-15. I used to have a AK-47, but I sold it. A long range rifle is definitely something I want to add to my small collection soon. Below are my current tools.

I changed the shotgun setup quite a bit, and the rail setup on the AR. I took this pic when I got modern warfare 2, 4 days before the release date, and posted it on FB to brag to my friends hence the game in the pic.

The Saiga should be a good addition. Then I can get back to buying KR-X stuff. I want some cams, and a Mugen Racing 3, and to get the cage in, and paint the car. That is my goal for this spring. Maybe some bronze TE-37s too.

Thanks, I try to never half *** anything. So things usually get out of hand. I don't need a bike this nice, but I sure enjoy riding it. Again my road bike addiction started on a '86 Schwinn, unfortunately for you it gets all the hand me downs, for it is my bad weather bike. For that matter, the reason I bought a new saddle for the race bike, is the bad weather bike needed a better saddle. Dropping 49g off the race bike was another reason. Get your bike together by spring. You will enjoy it.
