Add me to the list of "no issues" with rollbar/seat/harness on the streets. Been running that setup in my daily driver CRX's for 9+ years. Only pulled over twice during "click-it or ticket" campaigns. As soon as they saw the harness they turned and went back to their cruiser.
I'm running those ARP studs for my exhaust manifold. That's some nice quality hardware right there!
For the intake manifold I'm running extended studs as well, but not the ARP ones. I think I got them at KingMotorsports. http://www.kingmotorsports.com/p-619...old-studs.aspx
I think you can also get those same studs at McMaster-Carr. It can kind of a pain to find stuff there though.
You can kinda see the ARP studs I used here:
Anyone have suggestions for longer intake manifold studs besides ARP? Their **** is way too expensive. I thought the $25 I was gonna spend in the hardware store was too much(theirs wasn't exactly what I needed)!!
This is for a set of 4. I really need 10 but that thing is $80!

I need them unequal like that with a size of M8 X 1.25 X45mm long. Thanks if any of you have online ideas!

well boys and girls all the talk about my pedal being soft was nonsense. Went to track today and drove her hard, brakes are hard as a rock now lol. **** just needed to be worked in. Had alot of fun and the old gal did alright for being its first shakedown. Will post pics as soon as i find some.
lol @ evading the curse...i happen to recall a bit of a mechanical curse for you last summer though.
i still remember being about 2 seconds away from yanking the head and doing a headgasket. and you were like 2000 miles from home. lol

Nothing catastrophic has happened but all kinds of little annoying **** rears its ugly head on the mechanical end.
Hey guys, how's things shaking? Been gone a while...
I am helping a fiend tune his B16 swapped 89 civic si, its a first gen jdm swap. I went to set the timing today because the engine seemed a bit off and noticed that I ran out of advance adjustment before hitting the correct timing mark - need a bit more to go but dist cant be turned more.
Anyone run into this? Could the crank pulley have been installed incorrectly? should we run it just as far as it can go, slot the openings more?
Thanks in advance...

40$ for 10... http://www.kingmotorsports.com/p-232...-stud-kit.aspx
I feel like they used to be more $.. either way. seems fairly priced.
they sell longer ones at autozone, they are black carbon steel tho... like exhaust studs. I bought one to replace a header stud one time and it was about 1/4" longer than the oem ones, only reason I mentioned it.

its more than likely a cam thats off a tooth...it couldnt be a crank pulley, unless its an improperly marked aftermarket pulley.
does it run fine? sure you got the light on the right plug wire?
I have the exhaust manifold and intake manifold studs from King.. definitely long enough! go in easy with an allen key too.

EDIT: I just looked for more stuff and they offer intake specific ones also that come with special washers to reduce heat transfer for $10 more and the studs are SS. I also called them to find out the length and they are 2" long which is like 50.75mm
Thanks a lot guys for the other options!

Car actually runs fine, even more so when I advanced the dizzy all the way.
anyone here rocking a "eBay" exhaust. I'm about to sell mine and just need a replacement. Would get OE Si cat-back but it's going to probably cost around the same and the piping is a little bigger on the eBay ones.
Any complaints or good things or whatever
Decent won't kill me

Only problems I've heard about anything exhaust related from eBay is the welds. Expect to have to "touch it up" in the future.
