Trust me, I never thought I'd go JDM front. BUT, there's no welding involved so I can always go back

I've already got 2 pairs of headlights and I'm not selling my USDM lights. Haha. Will let you know though.

what kinda, how are they mounted? I need to install some aerocatches and need some ideas.

Please tell me you are keeping the tbar in, a bay with out it looks tacky imo. But a nice trick is drill out the spot welds on the bottom part, to its just a straight bar instead of "T" bar

-3 definitely won't be bandwagon status. It will look really nice (see below).

AND my Enkeis are 15x7, +41. Tires are Khumo Ecstas 205/50/15. I'll be looking for $800. Will post pics when I'm ready to ship/sell.
WTF?? Is that really -3?? I don't see camber, maybe it's just the angle. I guess I didn't pay attention to your wheels/tires at Eibach when I should have. +36 is cool with me, I wanted just a witttlllle poke, but it's not THAT important. But I could probably do about a +30 with the flares. I still have to decide on a track wheel, but I'd realllllyyyyy like some CCW's for the ufck of it... :p Hmmm... Why do wheels and tires have to be so damn expensive? lolz

I agree. I'm keeping the - , but getting rid of the |

I'm thinking aerocatches. I used to have the typical pins on my old hood and it didn't look bad. We'll see once it all starts coming together.

Yes sir, -3. -3 really isn't that dramatic. It's when you get above -4 that it starts looking weird. Are CCW's heavy? I say buy my RPF1s. I think they'd look hot on a 4-door and they're super light.

Nick, I am proud on the truck front but i have to hate a little. IMHHO, your car looks amazing with the usdm front I'm almost against the j's bumper, but still want to see it. Hey in your search for a jdm headlights you find someone selling a left (usdm Pass) clean light please lmk.

Thanks man. I have tons of pictures.. just scattered throughout hard drives and computers.
I was really happy with the job they did for me.. I tested the place out first by having them do a bmx dyno compe bike frame and some small pieces for me first. After that I showed up with the mother load!

I love the US front with splitter/air dam/canards.. Maybe you could keep everything on the side for now.. get some new fenders and have them modify those. Would give you the chance to change things up whenever desired. Either way.. really looking forward to progress photos of the transformation.

Here's another engine bay pic. I have a black Buddy Club oil cap on the way as well as a 70mm Skunk2 throttle body.

I have had my Aerocatch pins for a while now and am super happy with them. I will admit it was a bitch and a half to install them on my car, so definitely think long and hard about where you want them located on the headlight buckets or t-bar. The front to back angle of the post is very limited due to the plastic "receiver" being so small on the part that is attached to the hood. I'll try to get some pics of mine to better explain why location is very important.

Headgasket was blown between cylinders 3 and 4. Diagnosed that with the leak down and confirmed it when I pulled the gasket. Between any coolant passages and the cylinder, it looked good though.

The current situation with it...... I'm now slowly leaking either coolant or oil where the head meets the block in front of cylinder 1. Could this be due to the shitty Felpro MLS headgasket (had it laying around; still BNIB of course) or because I didn't get the block resurfaced in addition to the head? All looked good with the block but I know over time they can require it, especially when putting a freshly resurfaced head on. I ask because if an OEM headgasket may fix the problem (which I'll probably try anyway) then it will save me pulling the block for resurfacing.

So pissed

Looks like it to me too. Notice the carbon buildup isn't as bad for that cylinder. Burning coolant will actually clean up some of the carbon in the chamber. Id have the head checked at a machine shop.

That head is still sitting on the bench and will be getting serious work (JRSC prep) over time. BTW in pics above, 1st is the "new" head, 3rd and 4th are the old.
