Thanks dudes. And yup, that's definitely the drawback to taking your car to the track.
I spent about 3 years collecting parts to build that engine. Only got to use it for about a year, and at only 3 track events.

I'd love vtec killer cams...then my license plate would make sense with my valve cover. And I rarely drive my crx on the street...so who gives a **** about idling at 2,000 rpm. haha.
do this please

always nervous driving my car to the track to race. but i'm purposely keeping my B18a stock so that if it blows, $400 gets me another and no need for a retune...swap it and go

this is very smart.

this is basically my motive behind not building an f22 (besides them being plenty stupid fast for my needs just boosted stock-bottom-end)

we've been running our CRX, gutty, with its turbo setup on track a lot. we did an entire day without a boost gauge visible, running 27 psi. it held. stock LS FTW.

Hey redzc, you ever get those NSX calipers on?
Saw this pic yesterday..

Basic and clean, not sure how much cooling the other side of the rotor gets though.

I would have just done a quick look over of the damage if its less then your deductible and you have no frame damage told her to pay you that much and get it fix on your own

totalling it out is fine, as long as they dont get your title, and you just take a settlement, its still a clear title, no problem.

you arent obligated to give them the title ever, its not a problem. just because the repair is more than the KBB value or whatever, doesnt mean anything. they still owe you money, thats the bottom line.

best bet for you is totalling, IMO. its just money, and these cars aaare EASSSY to fix.
