Impressive. you must have prepped it really well. I've never had good luck with aerosol high temp paint.

In my opinion i would stay away form them, although some people love them, i have heard countless stories of them failing prematurely. If you have the money i would go oem or their are companies out there that make hard rubber bushing that are really good. Mugen and pic/suja come to mind, and i think even hardrace has some hard rubber bushing available.

Why not go to a pull a part or some other type of pull it yourself junkyard and get some. Every junkyard I've been to around here has at least a couple of DA's rotting in the yard.

Looks like the pavement broke under one side of the stand. It's not loose dirt. I've had my Crx on stands on dirt for a month or two and had no I'll effects.

you can pass emissions with aftermarket exhausts...the emissions are entirely dependant on the cat working properly.

looks like it was rainy all over this weekend... i spent the ENTIRE WEEKEND slopping around autobahn in the rain. had some FUN sessions with the local spec miata guys who were instructing with me though. those guys had a great line in the rain, and we were having a great time.

second session on saturday it was still dry, and my buddy asked me to drive his NA eg...very fast car, but had blown bushings everywhere in the rear, including RTA, and it was unpredictable, spun going rather slow though a corner, and tapped a tire wall. sucked.

putting new bumper and hatch on it tonight, and knocking a few 1/4 panel dents out (pretty tiny, and car was hit back there recently, and not fixed anyways).

interesting weekend.
