I think there are many variables to your header question.. as you said, mounts, traction bars, which B series it is.. Hard to compare which will fit best b/c everyone's set up is different. I don't think there is an existing thread for EF specific.. Pretty sure there is a "header" thread though. Whatever you do... just dont call them HeaderS
Wish I had some better info but my car isn't together yet.. and my beater has a stock header still.

Your question is suuuuuuuuper broad, but it is a good question. I've run a number of combos over the years. Originally Posted by LoSt is BlaCk

My old HCP mounts hung low...and I smashed two DC sports headers (I've never run dumped/slammed). I ran the regular Innovative bar for a while and it drug on a few driveways. WAY too low in my opinion. I've really enjoyed my Innovative "race" x-member as it doesn't hang low at all, but with my Innovative mounts, my JG/Edlebrock header is still scraped up (from the occasional jaunt on the street vs. the track where surface is pretty smooth).
I can leave you with this bit of advice...if it's an EF/ED, and it's lowered with a B-series, you're going to scratch/ding your header

p.s. Aren't you the one who does the Skunk videos?

From what I remember from my B Series days. RMF can't be beat. Most clearance, most power, and distinctive looks.

Looks good. And on a d-series, the exhaust isn't choking the motor like Homer chokes Bart. Engine bay looks clean too.Originally Posted by JDM*JUNKY*EF9

If u go RMF, try to find an original. The replicas are nice and claim to make more power than the original, but the hang low. I cant lower my crx for **** because of it. If anyone wants a rmf replica with some scratches but no dents, PM me. Ill let it go for $325 shipped

VERY tempting considering mine is staying at monster truck height or taller Originally Posted by B16CRXT

Anyways, yes, I'm from California as well so I know how the exhaust deal goes. This is why my coupe has a super quiet Apexi World Sport exhaust And the CRX? Well...**** it...if I get a ticket it's my own damn fault for driving a car fully prepped for the track on the street.

I know that header looks really cool.. but what are the advantages compared to the normal style.. better flow? The section where they all meet together looks like it may restrict flow.
something different

Dude. SAME here. I can't spend money on the track until Christmas is over. Don't want the lady thinking I could have spent more on her gifts Originally Posted by redzcstandardhatch
