Im going the custom route too. purchased a boat load of 2.5inch stainless from Vibrant, Resonators, U-bends, hardware, flex coupler.. really looking forward to putting it together. This new job just opened the door for endless options of building one of a kind parts. Once a few weeks pass Im going to see if in the free time I can work on some side projects.

I cant wait to finish the Amphibious Vehicle and show some pics. This thing may be saving the world one day!

if it wasnt wearing out you can repack them, yes.

some track dudes, and lots of spec-miata guys pull them apart carefully and repack them with higher-temperature Redline grease.

car looks great man. very nice.

Have fun Jolly... take tons of pics, I need to make it back out to Cali for car season. I always go in the winter when its super ugly here.

jdm- looks better! haha, you could probably remove the old sway bar brackets.
did you have to drill into the undercarriage to mount that asr plate and sway..

yah i never thought of that, maybe i will remove them.

Yes i did have to drill into the under carriage. But this kit is made for the DA so it was a pain in the *** to install cause of clearance issues, with the sway bar brackets. I think the kit is sold by asr as a universal fit for the DA and ef's which is stupid.

i have a needle with a zerk fitting on it. the zerk plugs into the grease gun and you stick the needle in between the bearings and squirt it in there.

sucks our hood webbing isn't as symmetrical as the S2000

found out where i'm going to put my oil cooler...driver side wheel well...thinking about cutting my bumper and putting some dense mesh there and painting it black so it continuously gets air

and since my manifold looked like crap, sprayed it with some high temp spray paint. sprayed it while it was on the car so couldn't get the part under the wastegate...good enough for government work
