The " I could be out in a bar somewhere if you'd rather that" always puts a zipper on their lips! Thats awesome man, Haven't been to a meet in years. They actually just opened the first NY Sonic like 20 minutes from my house.. first day open there was a 4hour wait, disgusts me, I am looking forward to one of those slush drinks though. I hear the Lime one is bomb.

I wish that meet was on Saturday, Englishtown Spring Nationals is on Sunday and I have two friends running 10.5 index that I dont want to miss. Looks like a good event though, for a good cause too.

The food kinda sucks at Sonic! Only good part is they dont boot you from the lot if you hang out! Anyway I might be putting together another all EF meet at the same location in July, so keep your calender open

Hey Redczstandardhatch...
Thanks for the pics. Looks like you had a grest time. If you ever get to Summit Point Raceway in WV look for me... I do Friday At the Track events as well as WDCR-SCCA PDX also. Im the only CRX in the advanced groops so I'm easy to find. You can check my pics.
I hope to get some new pics of the track day events soon as I lost all of the oler pics to a bad camera card.

Ive had it. Agreed nothing special.. Thats a bit of a hike for me but maybe you could arrange the meet around the same weekend as Import Alliance?! Im about 4 hours east of PA and another 12 hours from Tennessee and I hope to make that this year. I wish I could get some local meets together, a lot of the locals are suspect though!

We have a Sonic meet every Friday. Weird how they let us park and hang out there.

I too need to organize another meet. Been about 2 years since I organized one. They always make for a fun ride home

I try to keep mine as a Meet/Cruise. Much more fun hitting some twisty back roads than baking in the Texas sun on blacktop.

Anyone have any experience with a hatch hood on a sedan? I really dig the sir style cf hood where it goes up in the middle rather than dipping down. Wondering what fitment issues id run into if so... plan on replacing my hood before I paint my car may get a cf trunk as well just to cut down on weight as well since it will have full interior as well as the old factory sound deadener removed and redone with new technologically advance sound deadener :p lolz

I've been hunting for an SiR version hood for the sedan since I dropped the GSR in there. Even with spacers, I'm still rubbing the VC. Would like to be able to close it up and have clearance, considering taking a straight hood to a metal shop and just having them chop it up.

As for fitment from the hatch to the sedan, all I know is that it doesn't fit proper.

I didn't have issues with nine rubbing but I like the way it looks. I may just have to hit up a buddy of mine who had a custom one off hood made for his h series swap. Thing looks dope as fawk last time I spoke with him he was thinking about molding it and duplicating it since the shop he had do it I think charged him $1500 to make it.

What mounts? My old HCP mounts were great, but my innovative mounts required me to trim the inside of my CF hood.

Make some noise is dope, check the video for it.. its hilarious with Danny McBride. Been streaming the album over my phone all day in the garage. I feel you on the landscaping.. been doing more "yardwork" than I would like lately, but thats life.. Im sure the shed is just to clear more garage space anyway, so its slightly EF related. You ever get that lift situated in there?

You are correct sir. I do not want yard equipment in the garage so I'm stoked to clear it out. Almost done painting and having some racks installed. I'll have killer garage pics for you guys soon. In fact, I only like car stuff in the garage so much...that I have my roadie, single speed and the girlfriend roadie hanging in my office. The lift is stalled. I haven't paid my buddy for it because it's a cheap chinese lift so he's gonna get it out. I plan on buying a new american made lift, but the lift + install is $4,000. Fuuuuu

Garage = only car parts

Running the HASPORT EF2B Street Mounts and love em. Just not a fan of the idea of chopping up the webbing under the hood.

I'll keep my eyes open for any events that weekend, haven't had a whole lot of time to keep up with the "scene" around here lately. Trying to pound out the remainder of my Associates so I can get started on my Bachelors/Masters at UT Austin.

As for mine, she's turned into the true meaning of Daily Driver. I haven't turned a wrench to do anything more than regular maintenance in a LONG time! BUT... I do have a buddy who has been putting some serious work into his Y-49 Rex, swapping everything over from his wrecked 98 ITR. Not sure if he's gotten to dropping the motor yet. So if you're just itching to get some wrench time in, I'm sure we can get SOMETHING done
