Tires came in. And now I'm stuck in the office all day so I can't get them mounted Just thought I'd bitch and moan a lil' bit. Haha.

FYI, Honda's test ground is for sale. I drive by this whenever I visit my parents in the Mojave Desert. My Dad and I have driven up to the gate before, but it was locked down and no guard was in site. Pretty cool facility that's very well hidden.

I am beyond broke at this point too, surgery is less than 30 days away which isn't helping... only time I have thought of just selling some of the stuff I have hoarded for years. The worst part is most of the stuff I have is still brand new in the boxes, wrapped in plastic, etc. just waiting to go onto the car that I dont have the funds to finish!
I think the beater is going to be the first to go once the weather turns around and the local kids are looking for cars again. Beaters fun, but the other car finished will be a lot more fun.

Oh irony...I was bitching about not getting my tires mounted and left to get a quick bite for lunch. Happen to see a huge screw in my BRAND NEW tires on my '08 civic. Now I HAVE to go to the tire shop and don't have my 949's and new rubber to get mounted. Hahaha.

Its tough man, i find two hondas are no good, unless you are nick, who has a stock civic for just dd. When i had my 90 si hb, i was looking at ef9 fronts and other **** i didnt need.

I still have my 01 Prelude that I daily..taken about 90% of the parts off it, mines break lines and arp studs! still sitting on Azenis! no fun in the snow.
The beater rex was for fun, and it still is.. but only in the summer. which makes it just another project, just feel the money I could get for it may not be worth it.
The queen has been super neglected the last year or two.. I see a bright future for her though!

I think my main problem is too many Honda's in the wrong state, I'm screwed half the year!

He never tracked it They write whatever they want in honda tuning. Haha. He has his Tundra and 5th wheel and that's what makes him happy. We live too far apart so the car was just sitting and he rides his bike to work. Kinda sad, but he only built that car as a hobby for us to enjoy together. That's why I'll never sell the coupe either.

 

No, i wouldnt sell it either, thats cool. For me alot of this has been just to build it, even when it was done for hte last year, i didnt drive it much. i guess its like chasing tail sometimes, the thrill of the hunt.

 

I still have a set of Azenis collecting dust in my garage. I tried selling them here in sacramento and got tired of flakers. Then I started flaking on buyers because I was tired of waiting for them to flake. Haha.
