No flares, although I have a brand new set of J's flares that are collecting dust. I just can't part with them. The 225's should fit. I know a lot of guys that track with 225's all around and no flares. Just takes some massaging and camber. The Top Setup CRX runs the same J's flares and runs 275s up front on 15x9 949 wheels!!!

Header please. Curious what it looks like. I had a really nice RMF header for a month and never installed it because it wouldn't fit. Curious what your replica looks like.

If I ever see another set I'll let you know...or if I ever part with mine. I'm starting to hoard parts since every time I get rid of something, I need it a few years later. Like my Bridgestone Super R.A.P.s...they are just sitting with brand new falken tires mounted...and I don't have a car to put them on

btw, you should get some 949's

i remember a year ago or so n1-concepts was selling brand new j's flares but wanted a little over 600 for them haha. And nick im still sour you have those flares, you beat me to them by like half a day. Btw what color are your 949's?

Just got these in. Im trying to completely rebuild my suspension, with track use in mind. Slowly buying everything i want but snow and cold are stopping me from going in the garage lol

mAN, i need to step up my posting in this thread, i'm not even in the top 10....haha

i'll have a nice big update for my friends here in a week or so...

in the process of re-doing my turbo setup.

FORWARD FACING ROAD-RACE turbo setup in the works. cannot wait. everything is heat-wrapped, turbo blanket'd, and oil cooler'd. i'm out of room, so i'll be putting the oil cooler in front of the bumper. it has to be there.

I never measured it, but I think it's 2". It megaphones out to 2.5", like the original RMF narrow.

the oil cooler outside of the bumper=there actually isnt any room.haha

i literally have the bumper forced around the new intercooler...like, with heat. its awesome.

after my mid-car-life crisis recently, where i wanted to sell it, a buddy said "take it apart, and make it better.. fix everything you dont like about it".

so i'm doing that.

i want to be able to run , wide open, on track, for as long as fuel allows. in its old setup (the one that was in the magazine), on a hot track day, it could be pushed hard for about 12-15 minutes at a time, and the oil was boiling, etc. i could get about 40 minutes on track out of it NA, which was fun..but i want more. MASSIVE RADIATOR, MASSIVE COOLER, MASSIVE HEATWRAP.

i want to build the engine soon too. i'm going to thrash the old engine thats still in there, but i want a new built one ready for it.

i'm excited again.

i'll be running my oil cooler in the space where my washer fluid was. have heat wrap for the header and ordering a turbo blanket. oil other thing i need to do is calibrate my oil temp in the tunerview. for some reason it won't read past 99°
