Amen.

I had a 85 Corolla GT-S that I ran into the ground. The engine's are amazingly strong, and simple. To bad every fanboy has to buy up all the good ones for drifting.

Evo brites are awesome...and I'm trying really hard to give the benefit of the doubt and not assume those are slips with stickers (I say this because brites are so rare)

Yep. If I can sell both cars and get my parking situation worked out, I'll prob pull the trigger. The evo is an awesome car but I miss the lightweight feel of the crx/miata...and I'm getting tired of the boy-racer image

Can't go wrong with an entirely aluminum chassis. The curb weight is under a ton, right?

JDM ones are not as thick. The difference is the same as the EG thin molding versus the usdm counterpart. The difference in thickness in probably a millimeter or 2. Nothing crazy.

thats the eg comparison

as for the 88-89 vs ef9. it was supposed that the inset on the top of the moulding was a little different shaped

theres a couple more pics of real deal in SD_Lurkers fs thread.

but nontheless they are similar

Dude, I'm only hating on you because I've known you for so long...but do you really want to daily a Lotus? I knew Ryan wouldn't last daily-drivin' his NSX and before you know it, he bought the white CRX back from me.

Just a thought.

I do know how storage is for you...and the place you have is great, but you might not have it forever and another built honda could get ripped off quick. But if you get a Lotus...**** dude...hella ****.

A friend has an ef9 set on his hatch and the only difference worth noting (imo) was the thickness. Its kind of strange Honda would go through the trouble for such small, subtle differences.

It's not strange. They knew Americans are fat and they would need to open their doors wider, thus necessitate thicker side moldings.

LOL. Then I would have used the US version for the rest of the world. Do you really think if the Japanese people did a walkaround with the US version moldings, they would think to themselves, "Hmm, I was going to buy the car but I don't really like the way the moldings are..make them a few mm thinner and we have a deal??" Doubtful. I mean, a tooling change is necessary for this. On a Ferrari I can understand, but a Civic hatchback? LOL again.

I think it's a great looking car, but I'm afraid the price will be too high.

Not too bad, but I can drive a 20yr old Civic and get 35/38 per mile.
