starting to gather parts for my wagon's swap. couple questions.

What do you guys know about place racing mounts? Do they have any downsides over avid, or innovative? HASport is really just too much for me to spend on this particular setup.

Also i have a picture request of a stock CRX A/C compressor bracket. I'm trying to think of a way to get a/c to work with a b-series swap using the d-series compressor.

I used a DC torque mount/a/c mount. Cut the torque mount arm off and welded flat steel to it to shift the mount holes to the correct place.

I would almost rather snow at this point.. Everything is covered in ice here. tree branches cracking right off due to weight. Check out my Iced Out Grill! Bling Bling!

yea, let me know. retail is so high on those though.

did you have to cut the torque mount arm off or did you do that just in case? Was there clearance issues?

yea, the arm would stick into the frame if you didnt cut it off. You have to cut it off or you can't bolt the bracket on. I made this thing in the summer a few years ago. I was exhaust afterwards. The metal they use for these is VERY tough. I was also using basic tools. A grinding wheel and a flux core mig welder. Hardest part was the grinding.

I wouldn't need to weld anything for my setup, just grand off the arm. Maybe a bandsaw would work better?

Yea a band saw would probably work 1,000,000X better than a grinding wheel
