update:
apparently the neighbor heard a banging noise around 4am this morn. She went outside with her huge dog and saw two mexican guys taking my car apart. When they saw her they bolted and ran down the street(im guessing they parked somewhere not in the lot). She called the cops who looked for the guys but couldnt find them. Hopefully they can lift some prints off the car(i am scheduled to talk to the officer on my case tonight). what a bunch of idiots.
car was sitting on f**king egg crates...what a bunch of amateurs
front coilovers missing(thank god i didnt put my brakes and lines on yet)
car is sitting on the exhaust in the back(they didnt have time to get the rear coils or exhaust off)
cops dusted for prints
little present from the HOA(retards)....there was also a ticket saying that my car was in violation for not having tires(no ****)..after talking to them, they are giving me a few days to get wheels and suspension on the car

Yea front susp, wheels , ecu and a couple small things. Yea idk if they would sell me just fronts(from my exp they have great customer service). Idk if I'm going to keep this car. I think this might be a good time to consider something diff(I might sell everything and sell my daily and pick up one fast nice newer car)

Good thing that lady woke up to stop them before they got anything else, and at least no broken glass.. it looks like you had no motor/trans/axles in.. sucks either way, good luck with the re-build.

Dood, what the hell? Can leave anything nice lying around. At least someone did stop it in the middle of things, but still?
I feel you pain, I've had cars stolen and get not nearly enough back out of the insurance company. That becomes a tough call as well. Granted, relatively cheep and easy to fix, but when they get burglarized or damaged in an accident, you're left SOL in most cases - just because of the age of these cars.
At least if something newer gets broken into/stolen/totaled, you have a better chance of getting proper valuation for it.

About the a/c question...Because he put a new compressor in, doesn't mean that he converted it. Look on the a/c lines near the firewall and see if there are adapters on the charge ports.

as for selling stuff off the car: I haven't decided what to do yet. But if I do you guys will def get first dibs on the parts.
I just got back from the junkyard. Bought some front suspension and some steelies to get the car in moveable condition

Any one know how to get into tracking a car. I really want to see what i can do but i cant find anything. I know redline runs an event in english town nj, but are there other classes?
