This weekend 1.3" drop and some subframe bushings. Not looking forward to dropping the subframe, but I got some time to do it so blah I'm too cheap to pay someone else.

so just got a nice wake up call from a police officer in the city my car is stored....

they took my pic coilovers, thermal r&d exhaust, ssr wheels and prob some other small stuff

thank god the car didnt have the drivetrain or seat in it

but i think im done with hondas....im tired of having to worry about my car constantly

since the car was undergoing a rebuild(non-op) and was prob going to end up being a dedicated track car...i canceled it....not that it would matter anyways...they rarely cover aftermarket parts anyways

Damn, sucks to hear that. It is such an issue with any Honda. Shouldnt be this bad, but it is.

FWIW - As long as you have pics of the parts installed on your car, State Farm will cover the parts. (I used to work for an agent). I have a huge pic file on all my cars, whenever I add parts, I snap a pic.

I've said it many times and i'll say it again; who is down to set-up a "sting" of sorts and camp out while waiting for thieves to come and **** with someone's car? It's the kind of **** that happens to people like Stefndogg that really irks me.

doubtful that anything other than the shell would be recovered...a lot of $$$ spent on that car

It definetly sucks to see someone into it for the right reasons get pushed out by someone who is in it for all the wrong reasons. As much as I would like to say dont let the thieves/scum get to you.. I would be pretty pissed myself and double think the scene I was in also. like the saying goes... 1 bad apple ruins the whole tree.

Good luck with whatever you do, hope they get your stuff back.
If you do decide to part out im sure half this thread will help ya out!

I know this may be a silly question, but can someone give me a simple way to look and tell if my 91 civic sedan is using r12 or has been converted to r134?

i bought the car from a guy about a month ago and he "said" he'd recently had the compressor replaced, which would leave me to believe it has been converted, but I can't be sure. Tried to get my local autozone guy to help me out, but he didnt seem to know much...
