She is definitely a keeper!
I wish there were some shops that secialized in lowered cars around here but there aren't. Firestone is the only one that will do it. Especially with the lifetime warranty.

I need some help figuring out this problem. My car is overheating in traffic when the a/c is on. The passenger side fan never engages. The fuse is good and I pulled the fan out and tested it on the battery and the fan itself is good also.
What else could it be?
At what point is that fan supposed to come on? When it reaches a certain temp or when the a/c is on?

I bet its your fan switch in the back of the block. You can just tie the two wires together for now to have the fan on all the time.

In theory it should, but I've had cars in the past that are all aligned, but then I rotate tires and the vehicle will not track straight for a few hundred miles until the tires are "settled in."
Ive seen fan relays go bad. And yes, easiest and quickest way to check is to swap with a known good one. After swapping, jump the wires at the fan switch and the fan should operate. Screw waiting there for it to get hot and turn on. It can take up to 15-20 minutes for that to happen.
Wow that is a nice find!! Clean!
And wow, I am suprised, between you guys and my other friends, everyone agrees the truck is the one to do. So I think I may be doing that.
And as far as working on it even though it wont be mine anymore - I love working on cars either way. So i dont mind.

Trying grounding the negative wire and hooking up the power directly to the fan.
There is no need to have the fan run all the time. Why do people do this (other than for test purposes)?
