is a 8 inch wide rim really necessary on a street car tho? and they are like 12.4 lbs, which isnt bad for for being that wide. you have to buy 8 valvestems at $4.25 a piece.

sorry bro, i jumped the gun. (just watched the last episode of Jersey Shore so im feelin a lil Gangsta) I realize now what you were getting at. Thanks I have a set already. When i first read your response it came off like, "ehh I can get them played Rpf1s for $160, but im gettin me some baller *** 6UL wheelz." Totally took it the wrong way. I was at IA 07 i think when i first got my car running (with the fake Works) and a member on here pulled up next to me and said "Damn your car looks good, just need some real wheels now." That kinda got to me, so I sold the Konigs to my Dad and bought the Enkeis, brand new from Tire Rack. Think I paid $1250 for the bundle. Not a bad price, and I was proud I had bought them all by my self and not just put em on a Credit Card or whatever. I finally had "Real" wheels. Now everyone is like "RPF1s are so played out", but I like em, and I cant think of any other wheel I'd rather have. END RANT

You think 12.4 lbs. is heavy??? I'll be ordering my 949's any day now. Just need to get off my *** and do it. You really can't beat $700 for those wheels and v.stems. People have been beating on those wheels for a couple years now and they are solid.

With that said, I'll have FORGED Motegi track-lites for sale soon

I love the RPF1s. I wish they made them in white. I mean brown and not white, really? Anyway, I was after some cheap wheels because I was sick of the sunken Fit wheels so I got the Kosei's. 13.2lbs isn't bad, especially for $115 each.

yeah when the rpf1 is 9.5lbs, I agreed the weight wasnt bad for a wider wheel. I never said they were weak. I have problems with 195s rubbing so I will never see the point in having a wider wheel unless its to mAd JdM stretch my tyres Yo.

The plan is to have them powder coated later on. They're too new to touch for now (in my mind).

225's all the way around will make a nice difference, but I still lack power I'd love to get some Avon tires 245/40/15's for the front, but I'd have to buy some 15x9 949 wheels too

www.tirerack.com maybe? Otherwise, there's Evasive motorsports and some other dealers. DON'T go to R and D Motorsports. I bought my Volks from him, but he had them on the shelf so I got them. Ryan sent $1650 to that guy 1.5 years ago and has NEVER seen his Volks. He's managed to squeeze like $400 out of that guy though. Too bad he still owes Ryan $1250 more or so.

All this track and tire talk, I need my car running. Anyone have a b series throttle body, exhaust manifold, shift linkage or hydraulic mount? Im tired of walking into my garage with my engine sitting outside the car.

Hmmm, I think those are the spec E30 race class wheels. Do they make a 4x100?

ninja edit: bath robes ftw! Does anyone else realize that a snuggie is a backwards robe?

I love my RPF1's. I really dont want to make the step down from a top street tire, to just another street tire.

like nick said, you could probably go through evasive for the wheels. I've never had problems with them.
