For me I think the delay was the body and paint stuff, now that I have done some of it I can't believe I waited so long to get it done.

Sometimes I think I am just distracted easily by

When you guys do rattle can paint jobs, do you use lacquer or enamel? I dont thin it'll matter for me if it isnt a show car, but just wondering?

After I finished the job, I see things I could have done differently - I used Primer sealer on the bumper after scuffing and cleaning it well - then I see I perhaps should have used a adhesion promoter (Honda plastic bumper) instead.

I also picked up a filler primer for my hood and upper bumper trim piece (metal piece below headlights) since I have pitting and chips in both the hood and filler piece. I figure it'll save some time instead of taking the old paint all the way down, is this a correct assumption?

This of course is my first paint trial. Also do I need to take both pieces down to the metal?

i got a ticket today. fail. 60 in a 45 (between aiken and augusta. suck)

i told the cop i knew he was gonna ticket me as soon as he pulled me over. he was like why you say that? look dude, the car's yellow and has big wheels.

we then talked about how confusing/annoying it jumps from 45 to 55 about 100 ft in front of me. i was on a business trip to buy some supplies too lol. dangit.

my car will be where i want it once i get a matching set of recaro's and get my a/c controls and gauge cluster mounts right. and some sort of floor mat replacement

So I have Kyokugen lug nuts and lost the key for them...found that out after finding a big *** bolt in the sidewall of my tire.

Where can I get just the key for the lugs?

Ok I have a stupid problem with my speedometer. My old speedometer cable snapped so I replaced it. Now the speedometer needle doesn't move smoothly as I accelerate. The needle kind of jiggles a little as it goes up instead of up smoothly going up like my tachometer. It seems the faster I drive, the smoother the needle becomes.

And sometimes while I'm driving on the freeway, the needle just jumps and starts making a weird buzzing noise like the cable was spinning out of control or something. The needle would shake violently at like 100mph even though I wasn't even going that fast. Anyone know what could be wrong?

contact who you got them from(if from a honda-tech sponsor and not a regular member). He might be able to get you a new key. I know when I lost my Rays key, I asked the guy I bought them from and he had me take a picture of the head of the lug nuts for him so he could get me a new key. Cost me like $25, but it had to be done.

I use to have that same issue, but everytime it would do that I would notice that my speed-o cable was noy securely in place. So I would have to take it out and put it back in.

see if you can find the FS thread by 'ASpecProducts'. He's who I got my Rays from and I'm pretty sure he had the ones you have also. He may be able to get you a new key.

I was nice to the policeman, but I knew the drill. As I sat in my car waiting for the ticket all I could think of was, I wonder how I can deduct this from my taxes? (as i was buying photography stuff for a wedding this weekend)

ATTN: LOS ANGELES EF SEDAN OWNERS!

I have been in contact with John from JDP Engineering regarding the possibility of him manufacturing a lip for the EF sedan quite similar to the DA one below. Because of the similarity in shape, he may be able to use this one as a base for the EF sedan lip. He is asking me to locate someone in the LA area to let him borrow their '90-'91 front bumper to use for fitment. He quoted me $200 for the DA lip below which I wanted to modify for my sedan, but I can't bring myself to chop the ends of such a beautiful piece. Please PM me if you are interested and willing. I'm sure he will offer a discounted price for whomever volunteers.
