I'm too lazy to make a build thread.

The hell with being lazy for a thread.
I'm to lazy to take everything apart like you did and powdercoat all my parts. Like nice

Anyone have any extra or a set of Civic/Crx rear LCA for a sway bar??
I have DA ones but after comparing them to the Civic once the camber is going to be something horrible if I use them

Damn dude...you went gangster and even powdercoated the hubs. So awesome. Looks like you took it to a dude who knows what he's doing too (I don't see powdercoat on the outside of hubs, inside the knuckles, etc.).

I cleaned up my rears suspension when installing my koni's this weekend. Gotta love powdercoat and how easy the stuff cleans up now.

Almost died on this photoshoot.
The rear tire went flat while driving. so I changed it to my spare RnR and continued to drive about 5 miles to the place. When I got there I swapped back to the CF-48 in the rear. Someone inside to me to check on the lug nuts before I drive back home on the freeway and thats when I noticed my passenger side lug nuts where loose and I even lost one on the drive. Scared my shitless. I heard in nots good to swap wheels so often because it stretches the studs, True or False. And for a person like me is it better to go OEM studs or aftermarket or doe it even matter.

Also I have one of these for sale if anyone need/wants it

Yeah, the guys I go to do all kinds of stuff and always flawless work. They don't even rape the pockets too hard. Ive since brought back sway bars, and a bunch of little brackets. Some of my stuff is "flat" black and some is "gloss" black. Thanks for noticing the hubs.. they'll never be seen again once installed! coating them was just rust prevention!

BLU CIVIC- Thanks for that post! peel and seal huh? ill have to go check that out. I don't care about the noise too much, but if I can tone it down for 25bucks then I think its worth it. Dynamat is too expensive.

Do I make a build thread in the EF forum or Appearance? dont expect much besides a **** load of pictures!

Are you using a torque wrench and torquing them down correctly? I swap out wheels constantly and have not had a problem.

I've never made a build thread because, A. I've had my CRX for 7 years and B. there are too many little kids on this site that are full of hate and jealousy.

...that and my car really isn't that nice.

Let us know. I'll subscribe!

I know what you mean.. I stopped posting pictures b/c people assumed I was funded for the parts I bought and I just got tons of hate. Plus Ive been taking my sweet *** time putting the car together but now I'm making serious progress and could use some advice and pointers on a lot of tedious stuff. Electrical stuff really gets to me... not that I don't know what I'm doing, but sometimes I don't trust myself all the way. Having a hell of a time mapping my electrical/fuel/etc.. on the inside of the car, firewall. You see all these beautiful tucked bays but no one ever shows you what the inside looks like.

Well see.. Look for a Build/picture thread in the near future.

for the first year, my build thread was pretty much 5 or 6 people in it.

now it barely gets bumped..only when i got faster, or recently, when somebody finds it and notices the car from Super Street.

i probably wont do another build thread. kind of motivating, kind of pestering. good and bad.

vega, car looks GREAT man. awesome

Build thread are mostly lame for 19 yo fruits. 95% of the ef based build thread are from kids htat just get a crx and start buying what ever is trendy. i like this thread cause most of you guys are efers by choice not budget. I mean how can u follow a build thread about a car that is older than the builder these days?

some of the builds are good, but some of them are like carbon copies...the ones i find funny are the one where people build auto-x or "track" cars and have 0 experience on the track

Haha, Amen dude. Could I sell all my cars/truck and get a new GTR or something similar? Sure. But why? Even I can't answer my own question.

Hotsauce- At least if you do a build thread it'll be a good one!

Good point Boosted. I guess thats why I find myself in here more than anywhere. Everyone in here is pretty helpful and steers each other in the right direction. The only reason I would make a build thread would be to track my own progress and get advice when I get snagged on something. I hate reading a build thread that looks decent from the start a week later you got back and their is 18inch rims and subs in the back! To each is own though, In my opinion there is different versions of enthusiasts, some of us in here just have more passion for our cars than a kid with his first car. I wouldn't sell my car for anything.. and I don't believe I'm following any "trends".... Unless 40grand into a CRX is trendy!

I still check this thread out to see what you guys are up to... and to stay on topic with EFs, the kid who bought my CRX drives this daily:

91 civic si was my second car, but my first brand new car - Colonial Honda here in Glendale, I still have the invoice somewhere and the spare key.

I loves me my honda's, but I am getting sick of theft and harrassment. If I had the space I'd keep mine, but as I mentioned, it's at least going to a good friend.

Vega, car is looking sick, at least you got it to this point before thinking about selling it. Good work.

As for build threads, I just go and work on my car at random times and usually forget to take pics along the way anyway, so I can never keep up with doing them. I usually like to see the end result and the small details anyway.
