two questions:

1. when switching over to r-134a why do you need to replace the expansion valve?
2. is the expansion valve removable w/out removing the dash?
3. i lied. is 134-a going to suck compared to r12. i.e. Will I be better off finding the R-12 I need vs. retrofitting it.

No, Sir. The sedan is desperately waiting, sitting on jack stands. She feels stood up.

I think that service is 6 to 10 days. No big deal. I just need to get it back on the road by Monday for work.

stick some needle nose up in them and tighten up the clips for the end of the plugs. or take em back most everything from AZ has a lifetime warranty.

It's no big deal, really. You gave me a great price. I just hope everything bolts up so I can hear myself think again.

A shop can get you some r12. I hear it's colder than 134 anyways. They call it Freeze12 I think. Carquest carries it down here.

Yep, cheapo aftermarket wires always pop off. Most of the time they come off at the dist. cap end and you have to zip tie them on but ive seen them not fit snug at the spark plugs too.

Vega, your trans issue could be a host of things ranging from internal issues to linkage and or motor mount problems. Who knows.

Those Autozone plugs are awful. I've had many break off in the spark plug hole. Those are fun to get out.
