Now we can hopefully end the debate on this one, lol! I know what I saw when doing DA t/a swaps. Great pics. Your rear fitment looks a lot better.

That all depends on what wheel offset you're working with. It would probably make oem wheels fit more flush, but not g2 teg's Koseis.

It's a Geo, I bet it did that with the factory motor.

Okay question for any of you guys that have done your own paint and body work - CBE I'm looking at you...lol

My car is white and the clear is gone or going in spots, I want to maybe just refresh the white, maybe rattlecan, maybe I'll pick up a gun (I have a small compressor) What do you recommend to remove the rest of the clear before painting?

Unless your small compressor can pump over 150psi forget that idea. At least I think it's 150psi and you want it to be large so you dont just lose all your pressure with a couple sprays. Can't really give you any tips beyond that.

lol finally get some recognition. 1st take it to a spray off carwash. blast the crap out of it and make sure all the loose stuff comes off. then you can feather back the edge of the old paint. or just sand it off.
a small compressor can handle it you just have to do it slow and be sure you can maintain a 25 or so psi for several minutes. Might think about painting one panel at a time.

btw white is a good color to try this out

http://http://www.hotrod.com/techart...job/index.html

read through it. you can do it. i painted the floor in the black car with it and i was surprised

Does anyone have any pics of exactly where/how far in I need to dent in my frame rail for a B-series swap (I know it's somewhere below the driver's side shock tower...)?

I just purchased a mini-sledge and I'm waiting to bash the hell out of my car .

the engine bay pictured was sprayed with two 5 gallon compressors, sprayed at a real low pressure

Thanks guys,

Clearanced it perfectly with plenty of room to spare. The B17a1 looks at home in the engine bay .

Did any of you guys have to dent in your rear crossmember near the rear engine mount bracket? I'm going off of Hasport's online directions (using Hasport mounts).
