I need to stop being so lazy and work on the crx. The winter just kills it for me. What will happen is 2 weeks into spring I will be kicking myself in the *** for not working on it, and be freaking out trying to get everything done! ha

[Content deleted - possibly useful to theives. - NA]

[Content UNdeleted - not useful to theives. - SS] If you have access to the cabin of your car and you are unable to unlatch the hood because there is too much tension for the hood release you can have someone help you. Have that person push down on the front of the hood and pull the hood release at the same time. This may or may not work.

TO ALL EF DRIVERS!!!!
PLEASE!
Don't buy such parts from ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/88-91...Q5fAccessories
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2BSI%26otn%3D4
or
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...2BSI%26otn%3D4

For example, the partnumber for that "SiR" badge is (only for example! The colors are different! Please be warned!) is 75723-SH3-961ZA

Please notice, that there are differences in color and CIVIC/CR-X!

CR-X = SH2
Civic = SH3

And please: Don't let you be ripoff!
That badge costs at your local HONDA dealer ~10-14 $ (10 €)
Please don't let someone kidding you!!!

PLEASE don't buy such badges from Ebay!
There are "mafia"-prices!
Please don't buy there!

Thanx
Mathias from Cologne, Germany

Exercise caution when giving out advise or information on how to get a hood popped from outside the car. The talk in this thread was reported to me, and I agree, methods for getting the hood open should not be openly discussed.

I know, people are just trying to be helpful and the people that post in here are probably all good people, but there are many other, less trustworthy eyes viewing the pages.

if you have metal shields you aren't going to be a nuisance. jdm housings suck anyway as far as output is concerned.

metal shields keep the beam out of ppl's eyes...

u want something like this

they're called h4 to d2r adapters/shields or something

i can see fine with mine... the light output is gay though in the jdm housings.... the beam pattern is scattered everywhere. They are called casper shields btw.
