thats also an excellent answer you have chad...

Also I think of it this way. JDM goodies at a good price only pop once every blue moon. which is why everyone is scrambling to jump on a EF front end when the prices are higher then they were two years ago. The longer you wait to get something that you like from Japan that everyone else wants the higher the price will go.
Supply and Demand

Great for me that motors don't work in the same fashion. so the longer I wait the cheaper they may end up getting. Plus motor, cams and other aftermarket parts that are made in high numbers are easy to come buy because they are produced in high numbers. Much of the stuff I buy as JDM trinkets aren't made in high numbers....

oh yeah I already have a motor for the hatch just waiting in the garage I'm just waiting on some key parts

But there is no point and arguing about it. Everyone does what they can with what they can how they can when they can. I guess I just think backwards

this is absolutely 100% incorrect.

the b16 went out of production in fiscal year 2000 (sept/oct 99) and the b18c1 did the same 365 days later.

the rsx has been discontinued so thats one less source for KVTEC motors

the shti is getting scarce so smart people are finding new ways to haul ***, i.e. k24 non-vtec motors out of elements coupled with a set of huge cams and a k-pro.

If you're debating painting the bottom vs. leaving it black, i'd leave it black, unless you are painting the black plastic on the bottom of the doors. I prefer all that be left black, the way it was as oem

I was refering to price.

but simply put I was never to interested in going fast as much as trying to have some style in my car.
Thats just me.

There's alot of truth to that.

James, next time your over I'll let you drive my car so you can feel my spring/shock combo (if I can get my bumper on securely anyway). It just might push you to go coilover.

i know you were. the longer time goes by the more pricey they get. there are only so many Bswaps left out there.

and people are still buying em up because putting a K in a pre-2000 car just scares the **** out of a lot of people for some reason.

dude, telling james that is like tagging up a wall in north dakota. no one is gonna give a ****.

but one thing i find comical is the fact that james knows if he knew how to put a K20R swap in his hatch in a weekend, it would be in there.

so we all see right thru the "oh i rather have a slow car with jdm **** on it"

your glasses should be checked out then. I can easily just pay someone to put a K series in my car but even if I could I wouldn't.
Cause thats not what I want to do.
Everyone has personal preference I don't why it hard for people to understand that some people don't want to do the "in" trend or "whatever one else is doing"

I'm not buying JDM **** just because everyone else is doing it. I buying them because I want to. May be a surprise or a shocker but its not hard to comprehend.

you guys go right ahead and buy what motor you like and I'll do the same
For me B series..not because it fast or because it c00l but because I want to

They're on Ebay all the time.

If it's a Civic, then hit up the junkyards and grab a set from an EX sedan. Last time I was there I got some for like $4 or something like that.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I need the outside mirror block off plates.

Anyways, can someone please prevent me from throwing my car off the George motherfucking Washington Bridge? The car is vibrating like something on the chassis was loose. Took it to a shop to get it diagnosed and its the front motor mount. Cool, I changed it today and I still have that rumbling/chassis rattling. Seems to be coming from the drivers side. When I'm standing still if I rev it, I can hear it. When I'm driving same thing but stops once I start accelerating although I can still feel/hear it. Then when I'm decelerating it stops. Could this be an axle or LCA bushing? I'm not even joking, if this car acts up one more time I'm ******* drowning it

Here's just another reason why not to buy from PasswordFuckDm!

I purchased this bumper from them about 5 months ago and was told over the phone that it had only minor surface scratches. When I started prepping it for paint it was like opening a can of worms. If you look close at the pics you can see all of the gouges and scratches that I had to fill.

Doing bodywork on plastic is the hardest kind of bodywork IMO! Anyway its all prepped and primered for paint so its all good. Only took me 15hours of work!
