O so its in your garage. Well then roll it into um your brothers haha (parents) I am thinking it will look badass. Probably a little better if it was all gold. But eh the stock look will have to do.
So I have been "owning" a Civic Hatch ED since 2002
how long have you all owned, or faithfully driven one with no breaks of owning another car, your Civic/CRX/Sedan ED??

I took out a "personal" loan to get my first one
$2000 plus interest for 2 years and some late fees. I can only imagine how much I actually paid.
I don't remember his screen name or real name
but the owner of this car was telling me he purchased brand new after he graduted from high school and still owns it till this day

i bought the white one back on new years day of 2001 if i recall right. guy had gone into a ditch with it drunk and needed to unload it to pay for court fees. towed it to my work to get started on teh project and while it sat out back someone stole the alternator from the dpfi ******* that didn't run anymore.
it was pretty rough, andy can vouch. he saw it in multi panel days. at one point during the rebuild it had the white chassis, half primed, celestial blue door, torino red fender, milano red hood, black fender, grey filler, and grey bumper. the majority of the multi colored beauty came by me piecing together the si-r front end and replacing one door.
ti was good while it lasted. well it still is good, i just passed the torch.

I think I had my crx from winter of 2000 until fall of 2002. Didn't pick up the hatch until 2004, I think.

Black bumpers are the ****
. Esp when doing a swap, you can leave tools on it and not worry about expletiveing up the paint.

And they are easy to touch up! I painted and cleaned up my engine bay. Now it's a pain to work under the hood because I have to be carefull, and I can't just set tools where I want. But it looks nice
Bought my 1st Si in 2000 ($3000)
-cornholed a dodge van in 02
Bought 2nd Si in 02 ($2500)
-drove both for a while, parted out #1, started modding #2
-Tagged a mercury sable @ 40mph, on the SAME stretch of road
Bought 3rd Si shell and towed her 500 miles home ($1200)
-drove 2nd Si until I bought my truck, so #3 gets the attention she deserves.
I absolutely love this car....In fact, because all of my hatches were 90-91 black Si's...there are some people that don't even know that they were different cars...lol.
The guy who does my motor work has had his since 1990, with 4/10ths of a mile on it, he drove it off the truck himself...I think that qualifies as a win.
