anyone have any images of how the actuators are done OEM?

found this write up which seems to show how to make the 4dr actuators work, but the images are gone:

basically i want power locks, but aftermarket actuators blow. any info appreciated. </TD></TR></TABLE>

I don't believe power locks were ever a option only power windows

i think you correct as well, which i find odd since power locks would have been cheaper and more readily available for honda at the time then window regulators...

did they just assume people wouldnt want it? :-/

i think i am going to buy a junkyard pair of 4dr doors and start experimenting, the knowledge would apply to hatches too, so itd be worth it i think.

the translations a little rough but i think this is an auction for a chargespeed front lip:

http://page3.auctions.yahoo.co...68690

"The CR-X EF8 latter term 1987.8-1991.8 front spoiler FRP make brand-new unused item gel coat it finishes and \ 20,213 (consumption including tax) with it is bid = successful bid. Payment amount the payment total amount reaches the “successful bid amount + postage”. Postage Hokkaido & main island Shikoku Kyushu… \ 2,100 (consumption including tax before the bidding please be sure to inquire the) Okinawa remote island from Q&A."

If the auction says ChargeSpeed I'm pretty sure I is one. Thats the same pictures from the EF Civic/CRX Hyper-Rev mag from advertising. But you can also get that lip from a couple of Dealers located in the US for the same price you would pay for getting it brand new off that auction once you add up shipping cost

I wasn't saying it was fake, I was just stating that we at least know it has a charge speed sticker on it. Vega_box is correct, you would be better off buying the same product from an American company, shipping from japan takes way too long, and you will pay roughly the same either way.

way easier to just drop the tranny. yank the radius rod out and she is free.

also for the torquing i usually use a breaker bar on the crank bolt wedged against the floorpan</TD></TR></TABLE>

x2. I jack the car up far enough and lower the tranny out the bottom with a cherry picker. Drop it on to a piece of cardboard and then slide it out.

meh, I just find it easier to take it all out. Takes about 15 more minutes to do and if you drop that transmission on the ground you risk cracking the housing..

Just FYI, I tried putting my S2K sidemarkers in my EF9 fenders and they clipped in perfectly. My original plan was to buy the clear JDM S2K sidemarkers to match the clear corners/bumper lights on the EF9 front, but I decided to go sidemarkerless instead. Gotta love Honda's compatibility.

So my battery is dead today (3volts) after i ran the car yesterday. I left both doors open and hatch open but all the lights where switched to off. Does simply having the doors open kill the battery (due to the switch being open?)

Yeah, I think so. Do you have an aftermarket/smaller battery?
