Yes, that technique for capping off a hot lead is fine. I also like to pull fuses if possible. But sometimes you can't if another system also sources power from that fuse.

Yes, that is correct. It'll be exactly like that except you'll be using the white wire for power which leads to the #12 (15a) fuse. This white wire is already connected to your radiator fan, so you do not need to rewire the power side of the fan, only the ground side.

cool thanks for the info. im off tomorrow so i will be pulling the right side harness apart and re-doing it again.

the car is obd1. i have the stock obd2 em1 si harness here so i will be taking the injector plugs, dizzy plugs and vtec, knock from that harness.

I also need to pick up JDM thin side moldings to finish it off!
and yet, very well done bro. I regret getting rid of my OEM hood bra cause im now having a hard time finding another one. Get the thin moldings cause that's sexy!

Thanks again man. I was very fortunate to buy my hood bra and fender covers in mint condition, I only put it on for meets and on sunny days. The constant Seattle rain would trash it if I always left it on lol.

JDM thin side moldings are definitely on the list! Wheels are coming before them though

Is it stuck on something or does it seem like the motor is kaput?

First tune is set for tomorrow! Just have to hook up my gauges, zip tie my fender liners up, and install my exhaust gasket and she *should* be ready to rip! I'll try to get a video!

Good luck man, take some tools and be ready for some stress. Little things always pop up.
Have you driven the car yet? I take it not.

so i got the cabin headlight harnesses about 95% done. my back was killing me too much to stay in there so i made a ramp to get my engine stand up and over the curb between my garage and the basement. then i installed the im, tb and the iacv that i got from the junkyard. i also got the fuel line that i needed. then moved the split up engine harness over to the b16. just need to steal some plugs from my em1 si engine harness like vtec, knock, and injector plugs. just trying to decide if i really want to cut from that harness. it is my brothers and he wants 100$ for it.

I had this same problem about a year ago. Behind the passenger seat on the B-pillar panel there is a small rectangular/square cover. Pull it off, and underneath is a hole that fits an Allen key. It's the crank motor that winds up the seat belt. If you have the OEM hex key turn it back and forth and you will physically move the belt itself. I did this for about 25 minutes. After cranking back and forth the belt finally hopped back on track and retracted to it's correct position.

This usually happens to most people's DA's, the seatbelt usually just comes off the track. Wind it up for a good 10-20 minutes and hopefully it will work for you again!

almost similar problem but my belt stays where it wraps around me. the beeping sound i just unplug it from the device on the passenger side. acura wants to charge a diagnostic fee when this is lifetime warranty. im okay with it but i might try to fix it
