i worked in a shop for a little while and a car came in for tires. it had wheel locks on it and i could not find the adapter. my boss reached in his box and then threw me a tool that you just have to hammer on to the lock a little and it would allow you to take them off. he said it cost him $15 so wheel locks only work sometimes. i have moteki lugs and that tool would make it near impossible to take them off. but yeah if they want it they will find a way.
so today i came home from work and got started on my oil pan gasket. i noticed it was leaking a little while ago but didnt have the time to do it. i also noticed before i drove up to hb420's house that my coolant was low, so i topped it off and drove up there. when i was about to leave his house we were looking at my bay when i saw that the coolant went down about 1 inch in about 20 miles. driving very slow since im still in shakedown mode right now. i just replaced my thermostat and fan switch not too long ago. but they are not leaking. i also noticed when i checked my oil that it looked like it was at a high level.
when i drained the oil i checked for milkyness and i didnt really notice it. but after i took my oil pan off and drained the remaining oil out of it i could then see a milky swirl along the inside of the pan. i just replaced the headgasket and headbolts and i had the head resurfaced. i noticed that the old head bolts were not tourqed correctly when i removed the old head because some of the bolts were tighter than others. the block also had a small chip on the waterjacket of the no.3 cylinder.(outside of cylinder) cylinder walls looked good. do you guys think i should have the block resurfaced too and would i have to take the whole block apart for the machine shop to do this. if you check out my build thread you will see what the pics of the block when i had the head off. and can i re-use the headbolts and headgasket because they only have 200 miles on them both?
if it aint one thing its something else!

nice idea lol...im gonna install my mcgard tuner lugs with locks...hopefully that can make it hard
lol they are ok until you hit a decent size pothole and they snap from the hub! herb you have a couple of nice set of wheels. why would you get rotas? i hate my rota flights. they are temp for my legend swap until my brother gets me his em1 si wheels.
its official! my motor is f**ked! i did a compression check and im running from left to right, 150,130,145,160psi. i then poured 1 cap full of oil in the cylinders and it then read, 170,140,153,165psi. im just gonna save up some money and buy my brothers b16 off of him. the motor has been sitting for 2 years and isnt going anywhere so ill put it in maybe next year.

i did the same thing kinda except with 2 different mcguard locks...ill never buy mutekis they suck.. i had them on for a week and after seeing that just about everyone with aftermarket wheels had them and the keys were the same i decided to take them off and on the last wheel the keys inside kinda got shaved down and was useless...i
it wasnt a socket. it was spiraled on the inside so you tap it on with a hammer and the edges of the sirals grab on and twist it off. he told me it was 15$ idk i have never needed one so idk how much they cost. idk what your talking about socket? you cant use a socket to take off oem wheel locks.
