Keving1991 - thanks dude. i actually crashed on it pretty bad. bent and cracked the frame. But i have 3 other track bikes, so i ride those too.

I just picked up a donor car from a hommie for 400 bucks. Some stupid lady hit him from the back and ended up in his back seat. He got a nice settlement from it so that's why he sold it to me so cheap. 92 rs hatch. Recently rebuilt motor and a YS1 trans. I'm gonna take the fenders and some other misc. stuff from it. Thanks though.

I remember reading something either here or on G2IC about fixing water leaking into the cabin but I'm damned if I can find it now.
I got in my DA today after a massive storm yesterday and when I moved the car I ended up with water running onto my feet from up behind the dash somewhere. I poked my hand up there a bit and could feel dampness on one of the loomsThis is the second time it's happened, I was hoping that the first was some sort of freak one off, but I guess not 
Where is it that I should be looking? My windscreen seals at the bottom of the driver's side (passeneger side to you guys) look a little tatty, is this the likely culprit?
I seem to remember someone saying something about fixing a common leak with an old lisense plate (not that I want to do it with a plate), then someone piped up with the Honda part number for the proper seal - could someone please remind me of what the number is, and offer a bit of advise as to where to look for the leak?

Change out the rubber seals under the 2nd cowl. They get rotted out and crusty and start to let water pass through causing the leak inside the cabin.
All those holes you see is where the rubber seals are that you need to replace and you should be good. I replaced the cowl too while I was at it and all the other screws on the top of the cowl.

i ride just about everyday. if i ride to work its about 30 miles round trip. otherwise i still ride about 5-10 miles a day and on weekends go on longer rides, usually about 40 miles. i've ridden as far as 60 miles before, which is a work out on a fixed gear. But i own a bike shop, so we organize a lot of rides
The most i have done was 101 miles, rode from dana point to venice beach

Does anyone have a 92/93 bumper and support? Ive been looking every where in the NW and cant find one for the life of me. My last resort is to by some aftermarket Taiwanese thing that may or may not fit... Please someone help !
