they look good on some cars but not that nice on a DA friend of mine had them in his old school accord and they looked fresh but saw them on a db2 and it turned me away from picking up a set

sprint harts too. i really have no love for them at all. there are very very very few cars that i think actually look decent with them on. and notice i said decent, not good. i'm just not a fan of them at all. but thats my personal opinion and is not directed at anyone

thats fine, as long as you dislike the wheels because of the actual way that they look, not just because of who makes them. I understand what you mean though

Might as well get what everyone will tell you to get since it's the cheapest. Autozone Rotors, with Autozone pads or Hawks.

Ok let me specify, first off i dont shop at autozone, i shop at checkers because i get a automotive student discount only at checkers(o rileys).

and i am looking for something thats gonna last, have corrosion/ rust protection, and offer improved braking. Looking for a cross drilled rotor preferable.

well if you want cross drilled you better spend some decent money and get ones that wont crack. cheaper ones like to crack...

suggestions????, and this is the reason i was leaning towards the passwordjdm ones, the claim to plan out the drilling so that no vains are drilled thus not interfering with the structural integrity of the rotor.

Cross drilled is not going to help you. I would get Slotted. And the rotors at checkers or o'rileys are the same.

When it comes to brakes, never short yourself! If you really want an upgrade with good braking power and feel:

If you're staying stock setup I would do this
-Either flush out your brake fluid (I'd prefer high temp like ATE) OR Get a new OEM master cylinder
-Stainless Steel Brake lines help improve your pedal firmness and helps it stay firm
-Cheap discount part store rotors are going to feel like good, but if you want performance and look I would probably only opt for a Slotted rotor (Do NOT buy ebay drilled and slotted, those are regular rotors drilled and slotted by some company). Get a quality slotted rotor (I've had the real Brembo slotted rotor and now have the Project U Pro SCR rotor)
-Brake pad...A lot of people will have many opinions on what feels good and what not, I definitely would not just get an oem replacement pad. Get a pad with a mix between a good cold bite and hot bite pad (I've only ran Endless Vita Nuova, Endless SSS, and now Endless CCA).

The rest is up to you for decision. Flushing the brake fluid is always a good improvement by itself as far as pedal feel and performance.

well i got bottlecaps on but i got a new suspension going in and i want some 15"s cause the car's gonna be raised a little bit... and the 14"s will look goofy imo
i was asking for a pic not a seperate rota vs sprint hart subject guys.
(personally id rather drop $500 on "gay" rotas than a k on harts)
i like the track r cause it looks like a more aggressive bottlecap

yeah i am looking at the password rotors, because they are slotted and they seem to have done their research. mixed with hawk hps and hp pads.

i have a new master cylinder and fresh fluid in my 94 gsr, so it looks like the new pads and rotors will also be a nice accent.

the price for the rotors and pads for all 4 wheels comes out to 345.50... lol

Also matty what is your preference on a good brake fluid, i saw some guys build thread where he used this Blue colored dot4 brake fluid, is there a super awesome brake fluid or are they pretty much all the same.
