USDM headlights have a better light output IMO because the lens is glass and not cheap plastic.

 

uh...that's odd, i was always under the impression that the JDM headlights had a better and wider light output. also, if u think about it, it's only the Headlights on the USDM that is glass, the foglights/corner lights are plastic. glass is actually more fragile than plastic. if u think about it, plastic headlights are better than glass because it's flexible. throw a rock at ur glass headlights-it breaks, throw the same rock at a plastic headlight-most likely it won't break!!! i.e. drop a glass cup, it shatters...drop a plastic cup, it might crack a little if anything. the only down side of the plastic headlights is that it need maintenance so it doesn't oxidize.

Not IMO. JDM headlights = driving in the dark vs my USDM headlights. The crystal clear glass alone is better. Yes, 9004 is USDM and it has more restrictions but that means nothing in terms of my experience with h4h/9004 bulbs and headlamps.

 

have u ever had JDM headlights(not ebay)? if so...they must had been oxidized/hazed. when i drove my buddy's DA with the JDM headlight...his light output was way better than mines(i have USDM), im thinking it was almost 2x better. and i was running PIAA ultra white 9004 while he still had the original 17 year old Stanley h4h bulbs. that's why i switched over to HIDs.

im not saying ur wrong or trying to knock you...it's just that u're probably one of the first person that said the USDM are brighter than the JDM.

 

it also makes a big difference on how you aim the jdm headlights as well, obviously if its aimed in the wrong direction you're not going to be able to see ****

HIDs in Halogen housings, sorry that's wrong no matter how bright and how much better you can see, they're not designed to work hand in hand. The housing acts like a huge blur shield making it a hazard to the on coming driver.

i havent had a chance to take any yet, its been raining 24/7 over here, dont expect much though it hasnt been color sanded yet.

Edit: got an offer for my rims, for some mugen RNR, just waiting to see how much cash he wants me to add on top.

 

RNR great set for a DA also, especially silver IMO.

 

Check those ***** with a magnifying glass. RNR are prone to cracking and usually have small ones where the spokes meet the barrel of the wheel.
