Anyone have some info on the Holset H1E?? I know it's very similar to the HX40 but supposedly the HX40 has more efficient wheels and flows more? Does anyone have any information on this and know if an HX40 compressor wheel can be swapped in a H1E?
I've searched and searched and can't find what I'm looking for....Obviously I have a H1E and I can get a micrometer and measure the inducer/exducer of the wheels if that would be of help...

Wow, no need to yell man.

Looks like an hx35.

BTW, I'm in your area, can I take a look @ the turbo? Hit me up.

On a side note my **** broke a while back and finally got around to taking it apart. Take a look, kinda interesting stuff...........

Also do you guys think that the HX25 is to small and I will have to upgrade soon? Has any looked into the John Deere Turbos that are on ebay?

I don't know what the hx25 flows, but I would think it a bit small. I would try an hx30.

On a side note I hit the track last weekend. Couldn't find rims for my M&H street strip dots so I ran on street tires. Never realized how much spin I get as I don't usually go all out on them. Ran a 13.1 @ 118, LOL! It was my first time @ the track to though so I really really suck. With the better tires and my two step set up im hopin for mid to low 12's.

Edit, wahoo!! 1500 posts and I still don't know ****!

13.1 @ 118? With some practice on those street tires, you could easily pull mid to low 12s.

that trap speed is good for mid 11s on slicks IMO.

I like learning to drive with power on street tires, cuz then when you upgrade to stickier track tires, you've got less of a learning curve.

Plus, you don't drive the street on slicks
