its not for use on a car and heres why... boats have what is called an "open" cooling system... that is they pump in water from the ocean, circulate it and pump it back out. most of the time this is done through the exhaust stream, boats use wet exhausts to keep exhaust temps down.. ever wonder why you see water pouring out of a boats exhaust? so if you were to put that on your car and use the water cooling... well youd be out of coolant pretty quick.

yeah no ****. I even said in my post "the turbine housing looks like it has a huge water jacket around it for sea water to circulate through" i didn't say anything about putting it on a car... i just thought it was cool.

People use the marine Holsets. Just a quirky housing.

Shalom, Racepak.

HX35 with a 12cm hot side should do 400-450 nicely on a B16.

SPEAKING OF WHICH...

I want an application for the HX35 with no wastegate and 12cm V band hot side or an assy number off the compressor of one. This would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I want the whole thing, but if I have to I will buy just the housing and put it on an HX35W or whatever.

If I had an application/assy number I could go through the local Cummins shop or Holset shop.

Here are some pics of my Holset H1E. My GT42R came damaged so I will be using this in the mean time. I'm gonna see how much power I can make with this one before I switch to another turbo. I will be pushing the limits of this turbo.

Hey guys, I just got the bullseye housing on my hx35 w/ 4 inch DP. I will let you know how it does.

This means I have my old hx35 turbine side, w/ OEM vband flange as well as a 3 inch downpipe and vband clamp. Let me know if anyone is interested. I can sell just the flange and downpipe if you like.
