truth....

there are a few maps floating around for holsets, wantboost and the shodan probably know best but iirc they are approximate maps or guestimates...I don't even know if holset was the one who pumped them out

Holset has maps, most are internal and confidential. Holset only publishes maps in a big book for authorised dealers, TheShodan should have one IIRC. I'll see if I can dig up a map somewhere.

Anyone know if there are fitment issues with a inlinepro t3 and holset h1c using the .63 housing from tims turbos. I think it should be ok but figured i check.

Nevermind picked up a miniram instead.

What's max power of a large h1c? Made 416 on 24 lbs but I'm wondering if could push it further?

About 450whp for the H1C. that's about it.. And that's with optimal conditions.

What other holset would work? I know the 35 is pretty much same turbo besides v band. Looking between 450-500. Hx35/40?

An HX35/40 is optimal, with the 8-blade compressor wheel with at least 10cm would work for the 450whp. That's if you must stay Holset.

The "B" is considered to be the HX35/40 in the HX40 class

For more towards 500whp-650whp, I'd just do HX40, if you must stay Holset.

Some comparisons of Garrett sizes against the Holset comparable sizes

I'm on a 7 blade hx35 and I made 481 at 20 pounds of boost. That's with a 12cm housing

I've heard that as well, I'm running 25lbs of boost now but haven't had it on the dyno. Should be a bit over 500 I'm guessing

Im gonna be running an h1c/b16 myself. Just gotta get a housing for it. Try n find a garrett housing for cheap and have it machined or just order the ready to go one from tims turbo.

Get the one from Tim's... It takes a lot to machine those to fit. And they do those in bulk, so the cost becomes a bit more reasonable for those attempting to do this.

More then likely thats the route. Turbo lab quoted me 100 to machine a garrett housing if i can find one. Havnt been able to find one cheap enough to justify not just ordering the tims turbo one. Either way all my car purchases are on hold till after my vacation in sept unfortunately.

And you won't. Those housings are good quality. But $100 is about right.

U know a soon as I posted this, it sold a couple hours later. I had it for either engine. Had both the d series spa top mount and b series spa top mount. All I have left is the b series manifold cast top mount
