I had to use 2.5" 90 degree off the turbo flange, then angle it over to the driver's side a little until I could fit the 3" pipe. It's kind of a slight S shape, but after about 6" it merges to 3" pipe so it worked out good. If you don't want to redo the downpipe then moving the radiator is about all you can do.

^you're lucky to have that elbow on the outlet of the compressor side. Mine didn't come with one and never knew they existed until I saw one in this thread. It would of made things a lot easier.

 

Yea the elbow does make things easier. I bought the turbo without it and I went on a hunt searching for the elbow. I ended up finding it on eBay for $40.

 

if you're good you can find them in pull a parts.

Shooting for as much power as possible on pump gas with water meth. What do you yall think? Ive seen a stock gsr on 12psi push 360 to the wheels. Idk if I can compare our motors to dsm motors, but there is one out there pushing 485 to the wheels on 28 psi, which is awd which loses even more power than fwd. I am also reading ~25 psi is about the spot where water meth can get you safely, but I believe there are many variables here...

Sure did. Sold it for $600

So I bought a brand new hx35 7 blade chra with compressor housing for $350, and tim turbos 4 bolt .63 ar for 200. Not a bad swap IMO.

they is a guy on eBay who machines Garrett T31 .63 and .82 housings for Holset turbines. affordable too

 

i see them on craigslist every now and then, that or ebay would be best bet to find a housing. on a sidenote, i go back next to finish the tune on my hx35 lsvtec with vtec actual working. made 377 and 320 on 20 pounds of boost with no vtec and only revving out to 7k. curious to see how much i pick up!
