Yeah, also hes using crappy wastegate too.... with the kind of Lb/min these turbos are capable of I certiantly wouldnt crap out on the wastegate. You can get a really nice mini-ram for around 380-425 bucks these days... which is only like another 150 more than a log.

Does anyone actually have solid proof that the ram setups are going to be "omg way better" than logs? I can not find anything related to fluid dynamics, etc, that would suggest that the ram would be worlds better. I could understand that a ram could produce a bit more gains in the extreme areas, aka high rpm or off boost areas, but as far as overall gains I have yet to see anything significant.

drag log manifold - 50$ no clearance issues with downpipe or turbo , custom mini-ram horn 400-600$ no clearance issues either, but thats 350$ that goes into something else, budget has nothing to do with being smart with your money, are you gonna talk **** because i didnt buy it new?

Exactly, I made 425 whp @14 psi with a basement build mini-ram horn on a H1C. The compressor was the limit.

No one said you couldnt get it done with a log, but there is definately some significant gains.... If I cant dig up some dynos, Ill show you. I made more power on less boost with a smaller motor by switching to a ramhorn, and really not changing anything else other than injectors, management, and tuner. (obviously this counts for something but you get the idea)

I am looking to push around 8psi, do you think that would be safe/worth it on this turbo...

Also, what size injectors would you guys suggest, I do not want to push it over 300hp and would rather stick to maybe 250-300hp...550cc-750cc?

Thanks everyone

anything bigger then 450's will be fine for 300whp

We did a log mani car, made 350 whp. switched it out to a mini ram, same power on 6 less lbs of boost.

is everyone using a BEP .70 a/r or is anyone using a fully stock hx35 hotside? if so is the stock hotside fine, or will it be necessary to get the bep to get it to spool quicker?

I have a 18.5cm H1C..The compressor housing has a small inlet compared to any others i have seen.. Are the compressor housings interchangable such as an H1C with the MWE housings?

So does anyone know if I can swap compressor housings from another h1c as long as it has the same size wheel?

You don't need one. They don't use them on the trucks and diesel trucks oil pressure is far far beyond what our little hondas think they can do

what are you guys doing with the hole in the compressor where the old line ran from the internal wastegate? looks like an 1/8 npt? wonder if i should just plug it or put a nipple on it and run a line to my external WG?
