heres what we are working with.

95 b18b1, 200k, fresh rings, fresh felpro hg haha
cable b16 trans LSD
act hdss 4puck
b20b cams (the 146hp, 146tq one) had em laying around so i put em in
cast mani
holset h1c 18.5cm2 hotside
the rest you can pretty much see in the pics

before the rebuild i ran it at the track on 10psi and melted the #3 piston at the top of 3rd gear and coasted the rest of the track and went 12.8@101 (90mph in the 1/8th) was street tuned by me on turboedit.

on the rebuild and now obd1 conversion (running free crome) im looking to get 11.99 on my 24.5's and about 13-15psi of boost.

i know my bumper is falling off, i removed the big bumper support and my makeshift brackets need fixing.

^ yeah but it won't be as efficient as other turbos..
ie. that's the choke point.

I have used a few holeset turbos.
The first one is an he341 Made 380whp on a sohc.around 20 psi Simple eagle vatara setup or whatever.

and a HE351CW on my girl friends stock ls integra. I made 230 at 9psi. I think its making around 260whp at 11.5psi. I havent thrown it back on my dyno yet. Its ripping. full boost around 5K.

Well im a proud owner of a He351 so we'll see how things go with it on my Z6. I'm rocking the zex 59300 cam with comp springs. sit hitting 9 grand will be ok. lol

So what u guys think about a log setup for it. I know its not the best flowing thing, but its better than a cast setup.

I was going to pick one up from either go-autoworks or spoolin performance on monday so i need some feed back.

What type of oil feed and return u guys running on these turbos?

Do i need to run an oil restrictor?

Nice results there - Please post what model HX35 you are running 8 or 7 blade ???

And is your turbo manifold a divided split pulse using the stock 12cm^2 Holset turbine housing ???

Thnx

All the information I can give you on my charger is this- its a 12^cm2 housing w/ a 4" intake and a 2 5/8th compressor wheel. And I think it might actually be my drain tube thats causing the oil problem. It has to make almost 3 pretty sharp turns before it gets to the drain spot on my moroso oil pan and I think its backing up into the charger and then blowing past the seals. It only smokes on deceleration, completely smoke free on acceleration and smooth as butter.

Make sure your drain is free flowing, but Holsets don't need a lot of oil, so if you don't have a restrictor, try one.

Also, what color is the smoke? Smoke on decel can also be valveseals.

nope.. I was maxing mine out on a 1.6L at 11psi.. I DOUBT you'll get 8psi before they die.. think about it. 450s are good for around 300hp if you're a really good tuner. the h22 is what? 220hp stock, now you're adding 10psi? be careful

I think 220 would be a euro R H22 and I think your most common H22A1 is 190HP, although I've seen a few make 205HP on the dyno in stock trim.

If anyone has questions about the HE341 and the HE351 I have done both of them on my cummins and the he341 on a Single cam and the he 351 on my girlfriends Stock ls motor.

I have a dyno sheets for prove spooltime and such.
