My type R seems to eat a lot of oil when I'm driving vtec a few times a week.

it seems like I'm putting a 1/4 liter or slightly less every other fill.

If I don't drive hard then it doesn't really eat any.

Is there any need for concern? My motor has only 40, 000km's on it.

I don't see blue smoke either and I'm not leaking any significant amounts.
