Would anyone happen to know why there's a knocking sound in my rear ONLY during turns?

'96 Civic hatch, btw.

Way past warranty. I'll try switching them around. Will tightening the top nut on the coilovers do anything?

first switch them.
i made the mistake of not switching them and change ALL my rear bushings which is $$ and time
turned out to be a bad shock but the customer service is top notch

you can buy replacement shock for $75

The thing is, I only hear it during turns. Not over bumps. Not over potholes. I'll switch them and let you know the outcome.

I have been driving on mine for a couple weeks now. All I can say is I am super happy with the way they ride. I don't find it to be to stiff, and it's not to soft either. Super easy to lower and raise them while they are on the car, I don't think I could be happier.

These go super low on an EG hatch, it's crazy lol

Your car is gorgeous and mint!!!

Some OEM window visors would seriously complement it really well.

Is there ant tips on making the front end lower for a DA?? I got type ones and i lowered from the bottom perch all the way and its still pretty high. The rear end was super low tho and had to get extended rear lower mounts.

I am also having the same issue on my CRX.

I bought F&F 2.5's with 12kF/10kR springs, and I've lowered the bottom perch all the way until it can't go any further, and I still have about a finger or 2 width on the back and a finger on the front.

Is this normal for EF's in general to not be able to go as low on F&F coils?

I've tried to search around, and people say adjust the preload, which I could do, but they are brand new and I don't really feel like voiding warranty within the first week.

I don't wanna slam it to the ground but I was hoping these were going to tuck my tire at least a tad bit.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Yes it is known that EF's don't go as low on F&F coilovers than EG's and EK's

They may be made the same, but the suspension components of an EF, EG or EK aren't exactly alike obviously.

Haha I don't know what to tell ya, Everyone who has F&F on EF Civics all say the same thing... They don't go as low as they do on other Civic models.

White coupe looks awesome on those wheels!

I think EF's dont go as low because they dont have as much body that make it look as low as 92-00. EG/EK has bigger bumpers and biggers lips+side skirts.
