Re: (foam)
yea i'm just wondering if it's better for me to get the type II's since cost doesn't really matter...just want to know if there are any advantages of the II's instead of the I's

I know one thing about the IIs over the Is, the dampening selector knob actually clicks into place now. Not sure what else, I was considering these for a while, might go with them in the future, but I think it might be ksports for me for now. |
Re: (sixfiveoh)

Re: (Status Sean)
yea i can't wait til i get mine...anyone with any more pics? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: (usdmEHboy)
pics wont do anything more. its a verbal or real life experience thing. you could have cut springs and wouldn't SEE the difference.
Had the version ones on my integra, felt great for 600 bucks. The dampening on the version 2 is much better. Slightly lower spring rates but a much better ride quality and as mentioned above, more evident stiffness adjustment. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |
Re: (Mr.OB*GYN_Rhett)
Why is type II better then type I? https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emsmilep.gif

Re: (Mr.OB*GYN_Rhett)
my friend has the type I on his Dc2 and it rides liek a dream. He's tucking by about 1 finger in the front and it's sitting flush w/the tire in the rear [just for DD]. The dampening adjustment [although it does not cliick like the type II] is still very useful and practical. Can't beat riding semi-dumped with a close-to-stock ride quality. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

Re: Function and Form coilover thread (usdmEHboy)
F&F type 1 on my DC5 rides very smooth, but the only thing i dont like is that for my
application the shock body is not adjustable.. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emsad.gif https://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y1...ithf2front.jpg https://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y1...withf2side.jpg |
