WTF is wrong with you people.
wtf since when did you HAVE to do that? thats one way but you REALLY think that suspension companies would do that to make it that inconvenient just to adjust the height? they give you those damn wrenches so you can use them to adjust.... one is for the height= the upper perch, and the smaller one to unlock the 3rd bottom perch....come on this shiet is too easy... I SRSLY HOPE YOURE BEING SARCASTIC, THAT WAY I DONT SOUND LIKE A BIG DICKKKKK

1. Loosen the lower perch (counterclockwise/lefty loosy) and spin it up.
2. Spin the top spring perch and spin it (clockwise/righty tighty).
3. Tighten the lower perch (clockwise/righty tighty) when the height is set and youre done.

You see, the 2 upper perches are LOCKED TOGETHER. This means that if you spin one or the other, the other will follow and spin in the same direction. Since they are locked together, they will spin the whole shock and this threads the shock in the mount or threads it out of the mount. Youre not actually changing the preload, the spring doesnt get anymore compressed/decompressed.

So by spinning the top one, the whole shock twists. To change the preload those 2 perches would have to be separated (twist one clockwise and the other counterclockwise). ONLY THEN would spinning the top collar actually compress/decompress the spring.

Get it?

I don't like the tint either, it was on there when I got the car. Will be getting an alignment soon.

I've had the Type 1's for about a year and a half already. The first car I had them on, I installed it and messed with the spring length to make it -15mm than what it should be. I got into an accident where I flipped the car because I thought I was speed racer. Now they're on my current car and today I fixed the spring length to spec and there isn't any knocking that I've been hearing. Now I get to ride them how they should be. Quality!

Cliffs:
- Set spring length to -15mm what it should be.
- Flipped car
- Put spring length to spec.
- SEX.

Well not all applications run the same. EGs and DCs go pretty low but EFs a d others appear to not go as low.
