at least you have options, I contacted them about getting a new OE equivalent harness to refresh mine - no go.

But if you have a swap, you can have pretty much anything made up

Good luck finding a good used one that hasnt been hacked. While I can appreciate the look of a shaved, tucked bay - i wont do it - or hack a harness to do it.

Hopefully someone will make an OE replacement

Sold my turbo kit on Friday. Funny thing is, I sold it to the guy that I wanted to be my instructor. He'll be using the kit on the track maybe this year lol.

Ordered clutch, test pipe, intake, headgasket, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, and a set of NGK Iridiums. Just need header and pistons.

His harnesses ARE an OE replacement with brand new everything. Not sure what you're asking for. To "tuck" your bay, you would have to reroute the headlight harness and other misc. clean up. The harness he sells is an engine harness, not an engine bay harness. Know what I mean?

Yes, I am the one who was managing that account. The company decided to put its money into other things instead of renewing the forum subscription here. Still alive and kicking though. The car was owned by a friend of mine, I was driving the car and a couple of my friends who also work here helped me prep for events, etc. My friend decided to take back the car though, so we dropped the race program.

That brings me to today, where I now have my own car that I am building and will begin tracking it this year! I have an auto-x scheduled for next weekend, cannot wait! Then Im trying to make it out to Sebring in March.

Just registered for my first track event with the new car. Just looking to sort out anything that presents itself under medium race conditions. Hopefully it will be decently quick out of the box and I can further set it up from there.

Not sure nick, but i think you misread my statement -

I emailed rywire and asked specifically for an OE style replacement engine harness for my 91 si, no swap, no tuck, just needed a full fresh harness - he said no, they dont do that. I think it may have also been that some pieces for that harness are no longer available - but they said flat no. BUT the do have tucked D series harnesses and OBD-1 and up harnesses. Maybe I asked wrong, but if you know someone you can ask, let me know. If some connector stuff is no longer avail - I dont see why you couldnt adapt newer plugs? I'd just have to repin the necessary plugs on the chassis/engine side.

You need to go faster, you just dont need HP to make it happen.

He won't make anything to work with the resistor box, I'm sure, but the harnesses themselves are called "tuck" primarily because the tighter tolerances. I guess what I'm saying is, it's an all new harness, but you'd have to go OBD-1 to make it work, which would include removing the resistor box and associated wiring. The other wiring in the engine bay is separate. The "no" response makes sense. Is there a reason why you wouldn't want to go OBD-1 anyways? Smog?

question on which would be better:

A: DA dual core radiator with single fan as pusher (currently have)
B: Single core radiator with dual Fal fans?

Due to space, may not be able to use Fal fans as pullers. Had them for almost 4yrs and never used them and noone seemed interested in buying them.

Ahh, okay, that makes sense - I do have to worry about smog, I still use the car as a daily. And I just rebuilt the engine so i wasnt planning too. Maybe if I eventually upgraded to a D16Z6 or a D16Y8.

Is it worth updating to OBD 1 and will it cause issues for my smog? Difficulty?

Thanks Nick.

Okay, maybe I can get an opinion if i post a pic - whiteline RTA hybrid bushing

opinions? Link http://www.whiteline.com.au/product_...number=W63452G

Adrian, I'd do a dual core - you're starting with a better design and adding a fan

RSZero1-I have seen your bushing question but dont really have a solid review resposonse your in need of. My opinion is most have used the Energy Suspension and either like or dont like. I have them on one car and they seem fine. On the car I am building I went with the Hard Race because it is rubber and supposed to be stiffer. Also OEM styled. There are spherical bearings but most dont reccomend for the street. As far as the whiteline you may have to purchase and let us know otherwise go with the common setup.

seems the same as the ES

went with the single core. my dual core is kinda messed up since my oil feed line has been rubbing on the fins in the middle. Not enough $ for a dual core at the moment, but will eventually get one. just need something right now.

all this snow lol

great view from my desk

Okay, thanks for the input guys, I may have to try it out then. I do wonder about the fact that there is no 'cage' for it, but that shouldnt be too much of an issue.

Hmm, wasnt aware ES had something similar Adrian - that's a nice view - at least you have a window - I'm in a cube farm.
