Im shooting for my first track day in the new car at the end of march @ Sebring. A friend of mine is giving me nearly new take-off RA1's from his spece30, so Im pretty excited about that!
Just need to get a S300, tune, brakes and I will align the car myself to be ready!

In the past I have used Hawk pretty much primarily. Ive used the HT-10 pads and liked them and we switched to DTC-60, but didnt get enough track time on them to have feedback. I will probably run Hawk HT-10 on my car with Hawk rotors.
The company I work for owns BuyBrakes.com, so let me know if you need any brakes for your cars!

not true as the majority of kits are pieced together. my car gave me zero issues on the track and auto-x. it's the longevity and the cost to make the engine stand up to constant abuse that's making me change my mind. if only the cost of the parts for these cars were as cheap as american car parts
The only issues he ever had were cracks on the original manifold (his was the first production) and an oil line leak. Other than that, all stock components and better smog numbers than stock.
and for the car choices - I've always been a fan of a clean unmolested EG Si hatch.
i would prefer a hatch, but leaning towards the coupe. the 94 would be a good trade, but stock engine, and i would need at least a b series. my buddy has an almost identical coupe

told him we could get some green neons and ride around at night. i'd get Paul on my license plate and he'd get Vin lol
saw this photo while looking through his photobucket

I have the right prop valve already and the e brake cables are included...
Adrian - is that you in the BLU hat?

Sweet! I never got off the waiting list for the autox event this weekend.
and the rear brake upgrade is fine for scca rules - as long as the replacement is not smaller than the drum you're replacing it with.
Woohoo!

Man Adrian - now you have me thinking if I could get a eg si for trade of my ef? lol
I love it to death, so i doubt I would - it just gets to be a pain in the *** sometimes looking for parts, lol.

Lol, i know, I know, I had to put it out there. Its funny too - because I looked at what was available...and it seems pretty crappy so far, lol.
BUT there are two REALLY clean EF sedans available - both EX I think. Slightly more practical. And I think its the additional lines (the trunk) I think my type X's look really good on sedans. BUT I HATE AUTO BELTS...
On a side note - anyone see the Whiteline hybrid RTA bushing? It has the gaps like the OE bushing, but the center pin is not bonded, so no need to clock it.

I think I'm going to try these out when i swap my RTA's for the brake swap.

I can't blame you for wanting to trade, I've been thinking about getting something different myself. But i honestly think crx's are going to be worth something one day and you should hang on to it. Not to mention yours is really nice.
I'm counting the days until summer! We've had a brutal winter so far up here

I kinda like that is rough overall, I'm not afraid to drive it everyday. When I had the CRX, I was always worried where I left it - that and I couldnt fit wife and daughter at the same time, lol.
i decided to keep the car and sell the turbo kit

Driving slow cars fast is actually pretty fun, more fun than a car that you could never legally wind out at least. Believe me, I speak from experience...
Thanks, much appreciated!
Yup, back in the 90's around here - people would go through reving and downshifting and cruising in 2nd setting off alarms, so the residences nearby got pissed, lol. Thanks, I swapped it to keep the driver seat clean. Thanks again, its actually a little rough, but i dont mind for a daily.

if the turbo kit sells, then keeping the car
