The Official EF Discussion Thread
WOW, just wow, not sure if its communication or what - tried to order a set of Panasports. 15x8 et 35. He asked for what car, I said honda civic, and he said they dont make any for that car.
So I asked, well what about 4x100 bolt pattern, do you make those - "yes"
Okay, so what is the highest offset you can do for 4x100 - "47"
And what is the lowest - "-12"
OKay, so can you do a 15x8 et 35 - "let me check, ok, yes, $897/ea"
What the hell? Since when does a set of panasports, single piece, cost so much? Maybe he meant the multipiece?
This cant be right.
Sorry, being rude - welcome back guys, nice to see familiar names.

Hell yeah, goes to verbalize what we all already knew about these great cars, great find!
Coop, I took your advice and decided to do the PCI spherical bearing for the front lower control arms - I ordered on 4/25, still waiting for the bushings, lol.
Doing the rear brake swap, new bearings, resurfaced the rear discs, new e brake cables, Goodridge Braided brake lines, new front lower ball joints, new inner & outer tie rod ends. Now just waiting for the bushings.

UPDATE! PCI Bearings shipped yesterday!! Only almost a month after I ordered them, lol. Would have been nice if PWJDM waived the shipping for not even letting me know there was a delay - all the follow ups were done by me.
Oh well, can finally finish my front end, lol

Went with whiteline rta's. I'll get a pic posted soon. Man, that is one thing I thin Instagram and Facebook have over forums, way easier to post a pic, lol.

It's a prepped SCCA Solo STC car.
Crushed rocker panels, but otherwise a well sorted car.
If it doesn't sell after The Smoking Tire guy giving it a test drive, I'd be amazed.
If not for the dented rocker panels, and it being 3000 miles away, I would have bought it. Just for the parts and the drive train if nothing else.

Looks pretty solid. The body is fairly decent minus those two issues. I couldn't let that car be parted as they are already hard enough to locate being a one year only car.

If I did not already have two 89 civic si's then this one would be on a truck on it's way to GA.
Like stated only issues I see are the rocker panels which can be fixed by a good body guy.
Edit - went another route !
Ordered EBC rotors today for my crx.
They are made in U.K.
Gonna pair them up wih Hawk HP Plus pads.
Should be good for another 9 + years!

(Assuming you don't track the car, and since you are buying HP+ I'm guessing you don't)
Why would you use slotted or drilled rotors in general, but especially why with HP+?
Seems kind of counter intuitive.

I like how somebody calls you out with 3 posts on HT.
Now that is funny.
I'm guessing people also dont realize that these cars are 20+ years old.
