Good job. Enjoy that new bike!
That being said, I will be working on the CR-X the next three weeks.

Here's what I've been busy with. My wife and I are building out a cake shop for our custom cake and cupcake business. Learning a ton along the way. I drive the Civic to work a couple days a week, but I have no time to wrench on it lately. Hoping to have this open in a month or so.
We set up an LLC. Fortunately for us, I work on the same floor as a few business attorneys so I got everything done free-of-charge. I pulled a little bit out of my 401k and borrowed a little bit from my mom so we're not having to deal with any banks. The process of getting the floor plans drafted, submitted to the city for review, revised, resubmitted, etc., took about eight weeks. It seemed like we'd never get a permit to start, but we finally did last week. Now I'm dealing with contractors and all their BS. There's nothing like this in our area so I'm hopeful it'll be a success.

Haven't had much post worthy news - but now I do - after the 91 Si sitting since 2006, my revival in February - the car sat with a bad input shaft bearing.
Instead of rebuilding as it was suggested (working again so didnt have much time) i picked up a fresh rebuilt from Synchrotech, a new Excedy clutch, picking up a light weight flywheel (11-12 lbs) and getting it all installed this weekend hopefully. Anticipating running again.
I hope to have my hatch driving within the month. I sold my Subaru to finish off the car before I move out for school. Can't wait.
Currently waiting on parts for my transmission. Carbon synchros and a Gear-X final drive.

You live in OK, right? You see how it took 8 weeks to get permits, and seemed like you could never start? How long would that take you living in CA, Nick?
That is an example of the government holding people back and making business more difficult. Going through it myself right now. MD is CA-East. Well, not that bad.
i was taking my dp off and noticed something strange...i thought all B18c1's came with an oil wamer/cooler. mine doesn't have one. stamp on the head says it's a '96

Im not sure which motors came with them and which did not but I know from my preludes H and my B18 that you have two lines going into the cooler.. one which comes from the water neck that runs across the back of the block, the second goes directly into the block... Almost about where it looks like you have a black nipple covering something, that smaller line next to it is the same on mine. Do you have any block offs on the water neck?
nope. i have no charcoal canister, O2 sensor, or catalytic converter. Good thing i only have safety inspection and not emissions
not sure if i have anything capped off on the water neck. don't feel like getting under the car after being under there all weekend. it's kind of a good thing it's not there b/c now i can order that Mocal sandwich plate. i knew i would have clearance issues if i had the oil cooler/warmer and that sandwich plate up there

Hey guys I have a question. My alternator on my crx is going out and my buddy is selling me his obd1 alt. People say i could rewire to make it work for my engine. Would any of you happen to know if it would be hard to do this?

It ran a best of 11.2@127 on this motor front wheel drive on slicks. It will do every bit of that and more now on the street tires with some more seat time and being more aggressive.
