i will ask him if the wiring is marked or if he has some sort of diagram, that he used to build it maybe, but i don't think he is trying to give me a bunk deal or anything like that, im petty good as gauging whether someone is being shady with me , plus i have all the stock diagrams for the car and a dvom and i had figured on exploring the harness as soon as i get the car home anyway, besides i will have the guys name, phone number, and address..... it should all work out

where i live i spend a lot of time on rock or otherwise unsavory surfaced roads and my car will be a daily rocker so finishes that are more expensive than spray paint are not really practical for me, besides i like being able to fix chips by repainting whole parts or changing colors on a whim and not breaking the bank

 

Hey guys, thanks for the tip on the 3rd brakelight replacement - got the thing out, swapped the bulb - and still no workie, lol.

Looks like I'll have to dig a little deeper.

Anyone have a replacement rear defroster/dimmer switch? I think mine is in not so good condition

Powdercoat is MUCH more chip resistant than spraypaint and it's not expensive. Most places would charge you 25-40 for those brake calipers. The more pieces you bring in, the cheaper it is.

If spraypaint is your prerogative, then get down with your bad self.

So, I was going to try and start my car today. No dice.
ECU has power, headlights and tail lights came on. Lights on the cluster came on.

I did notice that the fuel pump did not prime though. Now I have to wait until Saturday to try again, sigh.

 

Got my brake lines today! but before I could install them I had a guy call me to do a brake job on his truck...One of those flashy Lincoln ones, basically an over the top ford. cant pass up the cash! so hopefully tomorrow! They look to be much nicer than the older model lines Russel used to make.

I like the lip... good eye Boosted, it does flow well with the skirts.
Check out ICB, they have some "live sports" spoilers and lips in stock. pretty sure they have the J's racing as well... Pricey stuff. wont work on usdm front bumpers though.
