The Official EF Discussion Thread
I click my Honda-Tech icon on my google page.. right to subscribed threads... right to this. Then X. done. Cant remember the last time I looked at a list of threads on any forum. NWP cracks me up a lot.. but I only check the stuff Im subscribed to.
Ive never actually tried an EF specific forum like crxcommunity or whatever else is out there.. not really sure why either. Always felt at home here!!

I'm just bookmarked to my User CP.
Saw that on the FB page. They also just got the GT j's racing wing. I just cant justify those prices though.

And Dan...no updates on car
I sure hope it's done in two weeks. I'm due to hit the show car circuit Feb. 19 at Wekfest.
Yeah, those $1500+ wings are nuts.. and I would never mount it up like they say.. Looks way to tacky, IMO. Ive never seen mounts like yours Nick, but that is probably the only way I would ever mount one of those up.. your mounts+gt j's wing= wet undies!
Ohh man.. I really want to go to one of these wek fest's. and see the finished ride!
spontaneous cali trip!

Im not sure they have dates for IA yet.. I dont really plan any of the events.. just kinda go when it comes up if I have the funds and means to do so. I would like to go to some bigger, different events, or see what the other coast has to offer.

Did you get the +43? +35 would help, but you're going to need 10mm spacers to make those look unsunk. I just picked some up through checkerdsports.com
I love the look though Eric, makes the whole car look a lot more aggressive. Mine are +35, but I haven't had the tires mounted yet to test fitment.. guessing I may need some spacers too huh?
This may be a real noob question, but whatever, thats why were all here. What are the pro's and cons of spacers? obviously look plays a part in using them. and Im guessing a slighly wider stance could help.. I know I could get answers through a search, more wondering why some guys use them and some dont.

+43 , kinda regretting now

The rear camber is pretty off at the moment I will be retweaking it, so might not look so unsunk once that is adjusted. The 10mm with studs might be worth it, sounds like a PITA job though
From what I am reading, spacers are good for appearance + a wide stance= better handling.
However, if not used properly "stock studs on over sized spacers" could be very dangerous
Imo 35 offset is perfect hotsauce, why do you want to run spacers on that?
And heres my jibberish on spacers, pro: wider stance in better cornering grip? cons: ive heard people say they put more wear and tear on wheel bearings.
Me personally i try to stay way from them. Would rather run the proper offset wheel.

it would seem to me as if really low offset wheels would better for your bearings than spacers and moderate offset, yes they might put your points of contact with the road just as far out but there are less parts/points of potential loosening (one piece is most defiantly better than two in this case), i don't like spacers anyway, they just seem like a halfass way to get less aggressive wheels to seem more as such, just my opinion
is anyone running jdm accord intersection lights and or accord rear side bumper lights???
i think i want to do that to my next car, along with jdm 88-89 tails, side markers, and front and rear fogs, with all the lights wired to be always on with my parking lights, at least everyone will be able to see me coming
