Haha..
Went through a week of no power during this past summer... crazy hurricane left almost all of Long Island without Power.. Made me feel like the world was ending.. cant wait to see what kinda snow we get dumped on us this year.
Pic from said storm.. Ripped tons of big trees right out.

That's nuts! There are a number of trees that are uprooted like that.
Pretty nice garage indeed, and agreed with that last sentence.
25MPH constant winds are pretty normal here. I have driven home from work in my truck a few times with the steering wheel 1/4 turn toward the wind just to keep going in a straight line. When I lived outside of the city all the trees leaned to one direction because the wind never stopped and would cause the trees to all bend toward the north.

anyone got a b20a5 block im pretty new here and im looking for a block thats ready to put into a car i blew a hole in the side of mine ( high rpms through the snow) and was just wondering if anyone had a spare for sale or if they are willing to give one up
I've got awesome news, guys. Chris and I got the coolant leaks fixed, alignment in much better shape and the battery mounted. I drove it around the block a few times for the first time in almost a year and a half. It felt amazing.
There is a problem I need help with, though. The motor is warming up and the heater is blowing warm air, but the temp gauge stays on dead cold. We can't figure it out. The water temp sensor, the thermostat and the fan switch are all brand new. Also, the fan won't ever kick on. It ran for a solid 15-20 minutes and nothing would register on the temp gauge. All the fuses in the interior box are good. Any ideas?

yea, like clipsed said. Check at the plug for the 5volt reference. If its got the reference voltage, check the resistance on the sensor. If thats within spec take a good look at the cluster.

Just put another solid 12hrs in on the engine bay welding, and grinding. Finally laid down the first layer of filler. Also managed to get the RNRs to fit over the brakes. Had to grind the brake caliper bracket a bit. Hoping to work on it again next weekend.
so i has a questions for you guys
when im driving i hear a whistleing noise from like 2200 rpm - 2500 rpm then it stops
doesnt matter which gear or speed i thought it was the intake but i put a aem and same
**** D: any ideas what it could be? its done this before and after my motor and tranny
swaps

Guys have any good methods for verifying calibration on a torque wrench? I don't necessarily trust mine as I'm pretty sure my bro-in-law used it without my knowledge and I'm getting ready to do some motor work. Just want to make sure it's within spec before I go wrenching on important components.

So I pretty much finished up my CRX climate control last night, just gotta make some new selector button silhouettes. What do you guys think, all white LED's...
comparison of green/amber stock LED's to white...

I've been hiding from this thread for some reason.
To sum it up quick, I'm in the process of AWD'ing, tucking, shaving, painting the sedan.
Here's a quick pic of the bay as it sits now, check the build thread for all the good stuff.
