IIRC all jdm ef's had pillar mounted belts instead of door mounted in the later years, not positive.

np, yea same here... Along with hearing struts... We have shocks, not struts... The setup is what I believe confuses most since I believe people assume since the spring is attached to the shock it makes it a strut, which is not the case. A strut is an integral part of a vehicle, if you remove it, the wheel will not be true in terms of being able to roll. If you remove a shock, even if a spring is attached, wheel will still technically be able to roll so long as the body isn't sitting on top of the wheel. Not the most scientific explanation, I'm sure there is a better way of explaining it, but I'm sure you get the idea.
