looks like that CRX has about as much "bumper" as my car does.

there is virtually NO front bumper left on my car.just the top, and thesides.nothing below.

thinking of going to an Air-to-Water intercooler next year. really really curious to test one. a buddy has amazing results with his (lovefab and his NSXs)

my tuner has an a2w set-up on his CRX

trying to convince this guy to go a2w, but he thinks that throwing fans on his intercooler will help. with the engine bay closed up and using the stock hood, i'm sure he can expect high iats

Hey Hotsauce I got that "bling" Lokar throttle cable in the mail the other day, looks nice and something you dont see often. My only concern with it is the end that attaches to the throttle uses a screw clamp to hold it. I am little afraid this might fall off while I am driving and will be "screwed". Thinking about dabbing some JB weld on it so I dont ever lose it!

Nice, I held off on it for now b.c I need more important pieces to finish my Queen. Snap a pic of that end your talking about.. maybe you can modify your throttle body to hold that in place.

EF from this weekend..

never checked it out...

i just came into possession of a NICE eg shell with a GSR engine/trans, Quaife, Action 2md clutch, beautiful wiring harness, all custom/looked/shrinkwrapped, F&F adjustable coilovers, walbro/etc. it needs seats and a header/exhaust to be a car again. shell is solid, straight, and has painted CF hood.

i want 4000 OBO if anyone knows anyone looking for project. otherwise i'm parting it out.

I actually really like the swap idea but those frame welds are very unsafe. Also since you cut so much from the crossmember, you need to reinforce it. I did that same thing in the past to clear a header. Could feel the front end flexing before I braced it.

Grinding down those weak MIG welds makes them weaker. I'd go back over them or have someone else do it who can get good penetration while making it look good.

Otherwise, way to go against the flow!

with no front suspension loads on that portion of frame, its not that big of a deal though.

if i remember correctly, everything on that car is from the rear, strength-wise, like an EG.
